Having a working pool skimmer and basket is one of those essential parts of a perfectly functional swimming pool. But what if your skimmer basket keeps floating up when the pool pump motor turns off? Put a rock or weight in the basket to keep it down? Those days are long gone.
These newer types of pool skimmers have been around for a few years now, and many new swimming pools are having them installed. The skimmer box has two notches and the skimmer basket has two cut outs that fit nicely into the skimmer. Just give it a little twist which sets the skimmer basket in place, and you'll never need to worry about your basket floating again.
