So in reality 17.5 with a seat pitch of 31 ins in economy just means less comfort more pax. Not a huge revolution for economy pax in any way. The seat pitch used to be 34 ins

@@grammarboy1318 That’s what the old high density economy was in the 747-400. As you say, wasn’t a pleasant place to be and that was with a 34 inch pitch. In the 777X it’s more like 31 inch pitch so even worse. You can fit as many trick lighting systems, seat back video screens etc etc but if your cramped it’s not a nice place to be

A little surprised that Boeing has dropped strobe lights. They are now replaced by blinking LED lights which are likely more reliable and less in cost Perhaps the airlines could have the alternative to select strobes. Me? It may be a small item, but I kinda prefer the strobes.

And it should A380 was not a cost effective plane ever without Dubai? Airbus would be gone…fact🙌 remove Dubai? and how many A380s sold? 100 percent fact Airbus gone🙌 Dubai doesn’t need profits they bought them like toys fact🙌 the A380 goes down as the biggest bust in corporate history. I’m sorry for your feelings, but that’s a pure fact. Without oil tycoons buying them like toys, not requiring profits airbus would absolutely unequivocally have been liquidated and be gone. They would be six new plane companies building the individual planes. Airbus would never have rebounded from it.

Financially true, but defiantly the quietest most comfortable pleasant aircraft to fly on, so worth the money
