Liebe Nachbarn, Ihr habt nach den Tiefpunkten der letzten Jahre dieses Mal eine beachtliche Chance auf einen Spitzenplatz. Das Niveau der anderen Beiträge ist 2020 relativ niedrig, da in den nationalen Vorentscheidungen durch die Bank die falschen Lieder ausgewählt wurden und viele fade Balladen am Start sind.
Vergeigt also diese Chance nicht und unterstützt Ben, anstatt herumzumeckern. Der Song ist mitreißend und eingängig. Immerhin kennt man die Lieder doch eh schon 2-4 Monate vor der eigentlichen Show selbst, also würde es (meiner Meinung nach) nichts ändern ob man das Lied seit einem Jahr kennt (vor allem weil 60% es eh vergessen haben) oder ob man das Lied seit 2Monaten kennt.
Dann kommt noch der Punkt, dass es für den Künstler selbst die wahrscheinlich größte Ehre ist bei so einem „Event“ mit zu machen.......
Naja vor ein paar Jahren sind wir ja auch mal 4. geworden mit Michael Schulte.

Oh dear Germany, from a potential winner in 2020 to a potential last place in 2021.
I don't know why everyone is hating this year's song. I mean it's probably not a musical masterpiece but it's original and not the same lame average pop song copy we often had in the past. We tried serious songs in the past too but it flopped. So why not trying something new. Plus I watched his performance at the semifinals and he really rocked that stage.

Wenn wir als Zuschauer nur unter langweiligen oder nichtssagenden Liedern auswählen können, was sollen wir dann machen? Die Lieder vom letztjährigen Vorentscheid waren alle deutlich schwächer als das von Ben Dolic. Auch in dem Jahr von Levina: Was hätte denn da überhaupt was gerissen? Ich denke nichts. Ich finde es schade, wenn es keinen Vorentscheid gibt, bin aber mit der diesjähirgen Wahl völlig zufrieden! (Man denke an 2009, da war die Wahl vom NDR jetzt ja auch nicht so dolle...)

@@juergenhartmann4864 Naja, also 2016 war ein insgesamt recht starkes Jahr. So schlecht, wie Jamie-Lee am Ende abgeschnitten hat, war sie gar nicht. Das Outfit und gernell die Bühenperformance war da in meinen Augen nicht passend. Ob wir mit Avantasia besser abgeschnitten hätten... mhh. Also Rock kommt selten gut an beim ESC. Gregorian wäre aber eine sehr interessante Wahl gewesen. Das wäre mal etwas komplett anders gewesen. Schwer einzuschätzen, wo das gelandet wäre. Naja aber für jedes Beispiel, was du mir geben möchtest, kann ich dir auch wieder eins mit einfach schlechten Vorauswahlen geben. ;) 2015 wiederrum hat das Publikum mit 80% Andreas Kümmert genau richtig gewählt (und ich bin auch nach wie vor davon überzeugt, dass wir damit Top 5 gewesen wären), aber er wollte ja nicht...
