I had so many bowel obstructions it wasnt funny. Can you tell me why midgut malrotation is so often missed on CT ? For five CT's only two found the malrotation. And I think the second person went off the first finding and followed on there. Even after the Ladds surgery to try to remedy the situation, where all the small bowel is on the right of the midline and the colon on the left, Radiology still reported back and described the CT as "normal abdominal CT' . I suffered for 20 years because Radiology could not pick up on the Malrotation
I just have the surgery a week ago and still today I have the most miserable pain I ever have and I give birth 3 kids but this pain is unreal and the insicion left me a big part of the skin missing and maybe I need another surgery the doctor tell me 😭😭😭
I feel bad sharp pain in my right side of my belly but is crazy the doctor just tell me maybe I need another surgery because the big insicion attached to something and right now is look like somebody punch a playdoh and let the hole that’s what I have I don’t take the pain medication and the muscle relaxers because is make the pain worse I even have narcan just in case something happens when I take my medication because is a high dose but that pain is crazy I can’t even laugh or moved to hard like walk but I have a baby and hold her all the time is making worse my advice to you call you doctor and explain what u feel I have a catscan today to check because I can’t even eat I still with the chicken broth and protein shake but when I used the bathroom I bleed a lot too and I have bad anemia
Nooo go right away to the doctor I star with the pain in thanksgiving but my baby is special need and keep postpone for 1 week and the pain every day gets worse one day I came from the store and i star having chest pain I having heart attack before my daughter call the ambulance my blood pressure drop and i star having vomiting blood but dark the ambulance get code and I get to the hospital unconscious they in less of 2 hours have me the helicopter ride ready because I have perforation in my bowel they send me to this big hospital in 2 hours making test I get worse to the point the doctor postpone all the surgery and take me because i scream like someone is stabbing me I keep vomiting black but i was blood with fecal while I wait in pacu before surgery they gime antibiotics and a high dose of dilaudid and I still screaming for my life after the surgery I feel peace and a lot better I even making joke with the nurse in recovery when the 3 doctor performed my surgery came to talk to me I was in shock they said I only have hours to survived because a sepsis I spend 5 days in the hospital I walk 3 hours after my surgery and believe me that pain I don’t wish to anybody so stop postponing and goooo before is too late
