I think chauvet should make a $200 dollar scanner with a color wheel and rotating gobos. That would sell I bet! I would probably get a pair.

Sorry but your target retail price is not obtainable. We currently have a scanner for $179.99 but it doesnt have rotating gobos.
@@reissallan Well then I’m sure that less than $300 is possible. A rotating gobo system isn’t that complex. You have the Obsession HP which is only $300 and it has rotating GOBOs.
@@reissallan If you made something like the “Intimidator Scan 260” or something that costed around $300 and had rotating GOBOs, i guarantee you I would get some. There just should be something to fill this gap. There are lower-end scanners like the 110 and high end ones like the 360, so why not make a mid-range one?
guys I have emailed you guys a bunch of times with no answer. I sent in a moving head to you guys sent it broken back to me. I tried so hard not to leave this kind of comment/complain here but Im not getting any answers, Its a moving head intimidator spot irc 255 the ring where the focus dial is is broken. so now the focus dial just goes in n out.
They stopped making the 255 a couple of years ago so they can’t fix it

Was about to get excited for these but realized the 39 degree tilt is basically nothing. It's always some weird limitation.
The tilt range is way more than that. Not sure why they say that

what is the best way for changing out the Gobos on the Scan 360 and does it use the same type of Gobos as the Spot 360

So I assume these are replacing the 305s..it says there's a 100w LED..but the illuminance is less than the 305 if you look at the specs between the 305 and 360 the 305 also has a 60 watt LED..sooo..I'm guessing these aren't as bright as the 305s? Even know the LED is is brighter?
this is because the beam angle of the Intimidator Scan 360 is wider than the 305. This is why the 305 is brighter at 2m versus the new 360.
my question is? Of how many dmx channels is it actually because the manufacturer in the specifications or manual says that it is 8 and 12 channels but in all the vendor pages they have different information it says that they are 8 and 14 I think that a manufacturer as important as Chauvet should put more attention on those small but very important details
When the fixture was initially launched, the DMX channels were 8 or 14. After the launch the software was updated and the 14-channel mode became 12-channels (the 16-bit pan & tilt was removed). Chauvet doesn't control the vendor pages and it's the responsibility of each vendor to ensure accurate product representation. Chauvet's website is correct.
@@reissallan Chauvet may not be responsible for the information offered by vendors, but it is responsible for what leaves its factory! I had to go through the frustration of buying 4 units and seeing that controlling them via dmx was a disaster! I don't know if you are a customer service representative to make sure the problem is solved and to be able to buy the units again, because they left me sending a response (customer service) when the error was solved and I never received a response.

@@reissallan so I'm looking at purchasing these units, the elation lightjocky fixture profiles for this appears to be 8 or 14 still, if I download the 14 what sorta issues would I have if any..
