Wonder if the postmaster has any good stories and how did he survive in such a place alone seem alone would make you a very easy target.
...Or a much free'r lifestyle. He coulda worked allday Neked & snapped one off at smoke breaks lol Anythings possible, Especially if WE weren't there. Hava grest night
🤏🎩😉
That's what I thought the first time I watched a documentary on PortLock. Why didn't someone find out who the post man was and asked him if he seen or heard anything.
Even bigfoot can't stop the US Mail!😁
If the postman left in 1951, that's 72 years ago. Even if he was a young man of 28, he'd be a 100 now and I think he was a middle-aged postman at that time. He remained; because, he was nearing retirement. He's long since dead.
Im sure he has stories but the govt wouldnt let him share
Can't believe it took me this long to find my favorite voice! Hello again Steve! Happy to hear you!
I WONDER WHY MORE PEOPLE ARE NOT HITTING THE " LIKE " BUTTON??? Everyone is posting how they LOVE the channel but they don't have time for HITTING the like button! It DOESN'T COST YOU ANYTHING TO SUBSCRIBE OR JUST SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION
The only way for me to visit the town if accompanied by Steve! Even ghosts may stop moaning hearing from our beloved narrator! Huge shoutout from me and my cat! Thank you for the story. Looking forward to hear about the Nahanni valley little further down the trail.
I like what You did there @ the end. 👌
I have heard this story before but without the anecdotal information. You made this even more frightening with the stories you told. Thank you.
I can imagine the postmaster tried to get a transfer out of there ,but....knowing the government..it took a year.
Great story Steve! Thank you for cutting out the music after the intro, so we can enjoy your voice and naration 👍🏻😀❤😊
I seen a bigfoot documentry about this, i have to say i didn't watch it all, it was to creepy.
Hi from Edinburgh Scotland and your biggest fan
Love the narration nobody tells a story like you Steve
My husband just bought me your books love them
Allie 😊
Aww... Thank you, Alexis! Happy reading!
I'd spend time there. What fascinates me is that there was a serial killer active and they just go monster did it!
Just off the shore of Alaska has some of the deepest ocean on earth as well. Just to add to the creep factor. Bay of Alaska I believe is 21 thousand feet deep. About give or take. Possible underwater bases there.
postman must of been bored that last year
Ay,well, I guess I won't be going there. That sounds very scary to me. Interesting stories, though. Thank you for sharing them with us.😊❤
Thanks for watching!
Yikes. Thank you Steveee!!❤❤❤❤
Hi Steve, we love your narration!🎉❤
I could listen to Steve talk about air for an hour. Isn’t he great!!
Hello to All.. so happy I found Steve❤
I just love your calm voice so much it makes work easier thank you for everything you do!
That was a beautiful nature scene at the beginning Steve. I'd love to visit Alaska sometime with a guide. I don't know enough about that area to feel confident. That town would be very cool visit.
I would be on my guard if l visited this place unbelievable the Evil!
Love this story ! One of my favourites !
thank you Steve 🌹 yiu have a wonderful voice for narration as well these stories are very interesting .
as a native american female ive always had a special connection with nature and ive had many personal experiences with a bigfoot here in the upper northeast as well in upstate NY .
the presence you discribe in my experience is for certain a , ghost , type , and very distraught at that . odd goings on in all regions and dangerous .
Yikes , this is a good one
pleasant day to you 🕊️🍃
I had hoped never to hear of any ghost or sasquatch sitings in my favorite place in the country, the Adk.😮😢
Hey Steve, wonderful as always and no I don't want to go there 😮
I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for 3 years in my early late teens early 20s and i heard some of the stories of hauntings in Alaska and this one always creeped me out.
Wow. Very intriguing. This prompts me to look up more info about this place BUT I'd NEVERRRRRR wanna go there! Lol.
Wow .. that's just mad .. ❤️🙏🇭🇲
awesome! Whatever was/is going on in Portlock has always fascinated me to no end!
Thanks Steve
Love these abandoned town stories!
Absolutely 💯 love your channel ❤️ hello from Canada ❤️ 🇨🇦
Daisy and Dingus says hi back steve. None of us ever want to go to Portluk Alaska.
I just recently found your channel and i absolutely love it
Question, when I was a teenager I went deer hunting on the hill behind my house in the western slopes of the Cascade mountains in western Oregon. Suddenly without any warning or feelings of dread just out of the blue something came out of the ground right in front of me and scare the crap out of me. What I saw it only be described as a featureless shape. That was black and white. Kind of like stripes but no definition when it got about 10 feet out of the ground. It either ascended incredibly fast in the air or just straight up vanished. I slung my rifle around as fast as I could and I was a little too slow to put a bullet in it. Although I don't think it would mattered anybody have any idea what I saw? I kind of attributed to being the demon but I don't know.
Man bear pig
Id need a bit more detailed info to make a judgement. Kinda confused by ur description tbh. Was it humanoid shaped or just a mass. The black and white stripes thing throws me off. Almost makes me think you were exposed to some sort of interference that caused wild visual anomalies or hallucinations. Ive heard a lot of times stripes can be a symptom of visual interpretation interference.
No ty! I have ghosts! But this is my territory and they are pretty well behave!
Same with us Felisa!
Another great episode, excellent narration
Love your channel, always happy to hear a new story.
I wish I could walk the at with Steve, I bet he never runs out of interesting things to say

I am so glad that I found your videos! I have started to listen to them on my breaks at work and in the evening when I'm sorting things out.
Thanks for the interesting content and great voice too. Although I realised you sound lime Mr New Vegas from Fallout New Vegas and I cannot unhear that now!
I’m so happy I found your channel. I really like you in missing persons videos. I missed you a lot. Great job on the videos. ❤😊❤
Thank you Steve you’re much much appreciated!!❤
Thank you for watching, friend!
Great story. I never heard about that place. Thank you & goodnight!
Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for a great video. Very interesting and informative. Love your channel. ❤😊
WOW.. I have read other stories about this place and I don't think I would ever go there. 😮
Sounds fun, Steve. I'd go. Btw Daisy and Jack say woof. I'm pretty sure that means hi, right back at ya
“Mouth open with a silent scream”got me good. 😮 eeek no thanks
Still thank you for another cracking good story
Everyone seems to say the same thing, I will never go back there again! Makes me want to see it. 😅 Great stories ATM!
To make the population of a prosperous, up and coming town haul stakes and leave that would have to be something pretty horrific. What probably happened was that the town got big enough that it got some malevolent attention from creatures that didn't want to be bothered. I figure it was more than one of whatever was there. The guys on the moose hunt were lucky to return home. Sounds like too many others never did. So many natural resources in the area, good livings to be made and yet people leave cause they're scared of some "monster"? You'd think that they'd band together with the intent to take whatever it was out. I wonder what the folks in the towns near Portlock thought of all this. Was this postmaster living in Portlock or one of the others, cause evidently he was doing the mail for those places too. Wild areas can be absolutely beautiful and also pretty damn creepy. Anyways I have heard this story before. But I enjoyed your narration. Have an awesome weekend everybody!
An evil place like that needs to be purged
No way i would ever go near that town, great story steve as always and by the way my 10 rats said hello.
All at once or did they say hello in different harmonies one after the other?😊
Steve that was some very good content thx👍
That place is creepy yet fascinating. I don't know if I would ever go even if I had the chance.
Oh I have plans to go! The only way to get there is by boat or float plane, so once you're there you are THERE until your ride comes back! I can't wait!
@@TalesUntoldYT man id love to get there, have fun Steve
I guess I would have to just suck it up and get there.
@@TalesUntoldYTI’m fishing in the port Chatmam, right near PortLock currently, never thought I’d be this close to this creepy town..
Make potluck Alaska a national park too and have only Bigfoot hunters look for them .
That was a really cool video, thank you
Love your videos❤
Love your voice and storytelling!!!
Definitely something mysterious going on in certain places on earth. 💯 Ty ATM! 👍😝✌️
How would I like to stay in Portlock, Alaska? How about no?! 😂
Some places on Earth are not meant to be developed. The original natives that inhabited this special place we call Porltlock. In my opinion still reside there. They know the importance to stay well hidden and or maybe this area is some kind of ancient burial ground of theirs. Wether you believe in supernatural beings, Sasquatch or spiritual watchers myself, I believe all three exist in some form or another. My thoughts are Possibly a combination of two or more have merged became allies and learned to coexist to protect, preserve what they feel is rightfully theirs.
No thanks!!!!, I love your stories in the safety of my home. 😂
That's always a safe bet! Thanks for watching, Trish!
I'd love to spend a couple of weeks in Port lock
The only way I would stay there is if I had 5 other guys with me heavily-armed
I wonder what could be taking these people
🤠 Hey, Steve!
Although I have never been to the Great White Way, I have a feeling that a lot of Alaska looks like this town! 😬
Ty ATM. 💯 pretty scary alright! 🫣🫣🫣
I really want to visit Alaska someday. It's so beautiful!
Dinky and Dotti say hi Steve 👋, not a cat in hell’s chance would you get me in an abandoned town 😳😳 1 house would be enough for me 😩😩😩😩
love the vids
Oh, I missed your voice :) Thanks for the vid!
Paranormal stuff has always been an interest to me. I’d go to see if I could experience something firsthand.
I'd be more than willing to go and stay for an extended period of time
I wouldn't mind visiting the area and looking around to see what was getting those folks, but I couldn't handle the cold. I can do ghosts, Bigfoot and the like but keep frigid temps away from me!
Steve, you've upped your content. You've gone from just telling about missing people to creating ghost content. Your voice is very unique and it sets you apart in your storytelling skills; but, you have definitely gone from just telling peoples' stories to adding ghostly content. I don't yet know if I like the change.
There is some places on earth that is best left alone...
Such beautiful scenery! Does that make the awful events seem worse?
In my opinion this town was picked apart by clandestine govt either US or Soviet. And i think the monster stories were a cover to hide whatever the govt did to or used these people for. Even if a Squatch was there its not like they couldnt be killed by a group of armed men. This story has always interested me. Id really like to go for a short visit.
Exactly!
Sasquatch are super natural beings. No they can not be killed.
@@josephgodfrey7953 they are not unkillable, and they are not supernatural, if anything they are interdimensional creatures or a deep hidden species.
I wonder how the postmaster managed to stay a full year in that town by himself before leaving. I’ve never heard these ghost stories before, I’ve only heard of the Bigfoot or yeti stories. It would be fascinating to go there someday definitely not alone, at night, or staying overnight. Just for an hour or 2 and book it lol
I want too live out there honestly ❤ it's just expensive too get out there.
Nope, nope, and nope! Wouldn't ever visit this place. My curiosity doesn't extend to this level of creepy!
You must read the story of abandoned Suevatpaul, Ural. Very similar. A large angry menk killed hunters and visited village and knocked windows and chasing people every night. Even now, native mansi people don't stay at night near abandoned village because wood goblin (Leshy) comes here.
The last thing I saw was a holy spiritual cleansing that supposedly ended the evil that was there. I don't know how affective it was.
Nope, would never ever go there!!😳😳
Wouldnt mind moving up there. Living like supernatural. 😅
I would love to go there oh my God
Well done,I think hold off on a visit for rest of my life, again Well done, you got a new subscriber
That was a great story
Thanks Steve but nope!!😱
No waaay😂🎉🎉🎉
👋🐿Steve!
I'd love to go there for a few days and explore, but where am I going to find 50 well armed Marines to be my escort?
People are the. Larger danger than some unknown species
I love your channel bro
I’d kinda like to see the place for myself, but I wouldn’t go alone.
Always bring a buddy. A fearless one for sure.
I’d carry an extra canteen filled with just holy water, also a crucifix; A high powered magnum rifle, and a .44 cal. revolver for backup while exploring that town!
I’d also bring along two or three hand grenades if I could figure out where to get a hold of them.
Oh yeah…, and four or five claymore anti-personnel mines to stake out around our tent at night.
Probably get them at the same place we got the grenades!
Okay, I’m ready to check out Portlock !
I've hunted in the area.
Never ran into anything my .45-70 wasn't able to handle.
No way would I live there. Bigfoot can have Portlock and the surrounding area.
Bigfoot was probably living there for many years all happy and content . Along comes a bunch of us , cutting down trees , moving stuff around and eating all the fish and game . What is a bigfoot to do ? Can't blame the big fella one bit .
She just needs to find her PEACE ☮️
Yeah, I remember when I had my first beer. LOL!
Still waiting for the Movie.
