I hate that this happened because Jules snitched and not because we cheated. I swear the writers always find a way to put Jules in the right and try to make us feel bad for her when she’s the one that fucks up the most. Now it looks like Rue is the bad guy again and Jules cheating on her is just gonna be glossed over. They’re gonna act like Rue only said all that because she was mad and using, and not because Jules has fucked her over time and time again. If they don’t address Jules cheated I’m gonna be so fucking pissed.
Same here! I was reading the comments on the enter euphoria video for this episode and there were so many people saying how bad they felt when rue was yelling at Jules. But I don’t blame her at all for snapping like that, and I’m so happy she finally exposed Cassie
She's not always in the wrong. She fucks up, yes, but literally so does everyone else. She cheated and lied, and rue lied to her too, about Elliot, about the drugs, about everything. I'd say they're equal
In this episode, Rue frantically shouts out to Jules the phrase "You don't love me, you just like the feeling of being loved", although it is said with the purpose of hurting the other party, but it may be the truth In the living room, Rue could see, or had already seen, Jules' ambiguity with Elliot From dropping Rue in the first season to cheating on Elliot in the second season, Jules didn't have an apologetic or ashamed performance for cheating, but enjoyed it. She cares about Rue, but betrays Rue so naturally Elliot wasn't a nice guy either, he knew everything, knew Rue's stupid empty glove pill plan, and certainly knew the devastating consequences of doing so. But he did it anyway, selectively saying about Rue's relapse without saying where the medicine came from and how dangerous it was. Hand the knife to someone else and finally say with ease, "Maybe I shouldn't have done this." Rue was really wrong, and she might have been right about this one
This scene gave me the closure I needed for my own breakups - everything Rue said to Jules is what I couldn’t say to my exes, she expressed everything that was left unsaid
While I’m glad Rue told Jules how it is, I also like the fact that scene showed a side of Rue that Jules hadn’t seen yet. I don’t know why but I felt like it was like two worlds finally meeting.
1:49 - When I first saw this episode and saw Rue make that face, I saw how she was both right and wrong. Not to mention the tension in here face makes her look terrifying someone not to be messed with.
I love the way Rue dug into Jules with her actual words. Jules deserves it. And the way she knew EXACTLY what was going on as soon as she walks in is amazing! The fact Jules is crying like she didn't cheat on Rue and still has the nerve to say 'I love you.'' Is absolutely VILE. Rue actually scares me. The way she looks at Elliot says ''Why the [____] would you say anything'' Then looks back at Jules is powerful. Elliot made the right choice by not saying anything during this scene. Jules is the most selfish, self centred, idiotic person I have ever seen. She cheated on Rue MULTIPLE times. And never once apologised. She ENJOYS cheating on her. She ENJOYS hurting her. And she still thinks she can say ''I love you'', that is insane. During the scene Rue yells out "You don't love me, you just like the feeling of being loved", Which you can see was meant to hurt Jules. But it seems more like the truth. Elliot just saying ''maybe i shouldn't have done this'' so causally, you can already tell he is full of regret. ''Yeah you're a [____] vampire, you just go around [____] sucking the [____] spirt out of everyone. You like that [____] makes you feel good.'' You can clearly tell Rue is upset. She called Jules out. She didn't even stutter. Rue obviously has had enough of Jules and her crap. ''I love you, and I want to help you'' Jules never wanted too help Rue. All she did was hurt her. And in the end Rue saw right through her. Jules messed up ''You [____] left me, when I [____] needed you'' They both hurt Rue. They both upset Rue. And they both didnt deserve Rue!!
There's people, all of them make shitty things, rue wasn't a good friend/couple either. They just had a bad time and made shitty things one to the other, but nothing, anything gives you the right of emotional abuse someone, and that's what I hate about this scene
I don’t think Jules is a terrible person in general. She’s has flaws, makes mistakes, and hurt other people whether intentionally or unintentionally. My point being is that she’s human, just like everyone else, and although I do agree that Rue had every right call out Jules selfish behavior, I do genuinely believe that she really does love and care for Rue, even if the love isn’t romantic and what Rue desperately wants from her.
I feel like Jules did genuinely care and had feelings for Rue but it was very inconsistent compared to how Rue felt for her. It's like Rue was her "back up".
Well youd be freaking the fuck out if you lost thousands worth of drugs that wasnt yours, Rue is terrified for her life , the dealers will do whatever they want to her now.
@@HBRchrisHBR yeah idk why tf rue didn’t try to explain that to her parents so that they wouldn’t think it was all to feed into her addiction, but it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway bc they flushed it all
Jules obviously was terrible for cheating but Jules telling Rue’s mom about the addiction is her redeeming moment. I hate Elliot more tbh because he facilitated Rue’s addiction, hit on them both and stayed silent for way too long about this addiction. At least I understand Jules, Elliot just straight up sucks.
Jules didn’t tell her mom because she cared she told because she was mad that rue lied to her. She only told because she felt betrayed that rue chose drugs over her. She doesn’t care or want her to get better she was just mad.
That Beach ?? Not really, Jules do care about rue even tho she betrays her. She had the same problem with her mothers addiction and doesn’t want to lost Rue for the same reason like she explained in her special episode she does love rue but she isn’t loyal to her. Y’all act like Jules is the worst person ever with no feeling bruh
Elliot is an addict just like Rue. Meaning that Rue also facilitated his addiction when they were exchanging drugs. But y'all are too one sided to notice that. You can't expect an addict to save another addict yet he still came through at the end. Sorry but Jules is far more annoying imo.

This episode is my favorite episode of 2nd season.i'm so sorry that Jules and Rue's relationship had gone this way, but I knew that one day it would happen. Jules love for Rue was toxic and unstable. Rue's mentally health is not suitable for running this kind of relationship. And nobody deserves this kind of relationship. Jules has been really selfish about some things, but I can't be mad at her either - except that she cheated, totally unacceptable - also zendaya is so great
I hope so too she seems to be hitting rock bottom by burning all these bridges Like everyone that enabled her is turning her away(fez, lexi, elliott even gia) and that's what's necessary for her to truly take steps to be clean I just want our girl to get well :(
to be honest, i can relate to rue in this scene. i’ve been suicidal for years and i told some people that i’ve known for months and that i thought i could trust, until an hour or so later when i learnt that one of the people i told, someone i thought was my friend told their mom, and she told mine. my mom knew i was suicidal, but i still got called an attention seeker because apparently i would be ‘too scared to do it’. it’s been a real while, i know exactly who did it and to this day, i still want to say something like this to them. so rue is pretty much saying all the stuff i want to say
My gosh, I thought I was never going to see an episode where the two of them break up😩 I honestly hate this duo. Rue deserves to heal and have someone that loves her, I hope we gradually see that from this show.
Her acting here is phenomenal. Wow masterpiece. If she doesn't get Emmy for that season I don't know what I wanna do. Her acting, she is more phenomenal than in first season. She should get it without effort.
I love how complex Rue is. As wrong as Rue can be, and as abusive as she can be. She’s still a human being, she loved Jules. And Jules never once thought more about Rue then she thought about herself. She knew Rue loved her, and that feeling felt good. But when it came to committing to loving Rue the way she needed to be loved, it was too much. That’s not say Rue is any better. She used Jules as a crutch, she loved Jules immensely but she made it Jules responsibility to be her lifeline. These two are very toxic people, who should have never gotten together. Rue makes her problems other people’s responsibility and Jules treats everyone around her like a toy to mess around with until she’s bored. They both need so much therapy.
Zendaya is such a versatile actress like- its almost scary😩🖤 she NEVER fails to COMPLETELY EMBODY whatever kinda of character she has to play. & what’s even crazier is that i basically watched her grow up from Shake It Up til now & i have NEEEVVER been disappointed w &/or in Zendaya & her acting , she’s a GEM. & as big of a name as she is today, she’s gonna be EVEN BIGGER in 10yrs👌💕🖤💯
3:28 “…because, honestly, looking at you makes me PHYSICALLY FUCKING ILL!” That last line was a blow! You can tell that cut Jules DEEP. All she can say was “okay” to Leslie after.
I had a girlfriend who was an active meth head and this is literally exactly how she reacted to her intervention. Calling me and everyone else out for trying to help her. 3 years later and I'm in a healthy relationship and she's still doing meth as far as I know. Don't ever be in a relationship with a druggie, they'll make you feel lower than they do everytime they shoot up or smoke while blaming you for trying to help.
Seeing this scene was really hard for me the first time. As a bipolar former addict I've been exactly where Rue is and committed just as much damage. It hurt so bad to watch.
This was a quality episode. Classic addict behaviour; absolute spite and always hurt the ones closest to you. So well written and acted. Zendaya was exceptional in this whole home scene. The double breath part, getting in the face of Jules and the clap... love it. Outstanding talent who has brought the character of Rue to life. I think Hunter as Jules is an incredible actor too. Totally invested in them both.
Haven't watched Euphoria and not planning to but just watching all Rue scenes and Zendaya never impressed me before til now. She deserved that Emmy. That breath at 3:06 was so raw. Yeah that's exactly how it feels when you're so in pain and you don't wanna cry but you can't stop it.
I think what you all don't realize is they're both in the wrong. Jules lied with cheating and Rue lied about using drugs. Both are selfish decisions that affected their relationship. Jules is definitely worse but her intention of snitching is good. I feel like the writer is telling us that these characters are very flawed but having a thought of being a good person is what makes them try to be one.
@@Gamingworld-xf6mi this bitch has been in comments saying the same damn shit over and over. How Rue is supposedly emotionaly abusive, because she neglects Jules for drugs. Wow. Jules was crying when she said all that toxic stuff to her face since she felt hurt. But when Rue says that she left her and she was heartbroken from that, she stops tearing up. That’s what rly pisses me off right there. Doesn’t seem like she feels bad for leaving her at the train station at all. An apology may not make it all better, but she could’ve at least said sorry.

@@anavrin5251 right before it happened when she was talking to her friend about her relationship with rue, she at the very least knew how much rue cared about her and how she liked her more than friends. Rue didn’t even really seem to mind that Jules slept with them, which just makes her jealousy of Elliot in the beginning even more disgusting
Ionknow why people so quick to tell
Jules about herself
like Rue aint impose herself and all her problems on Jules and she tried her damn hardest to not be the reason why Rue goes off the rails. Y’all remember that scene where she was in bed with Rue with tears in her eyes? She clearly aint wanna be in that situation with such a toxic person but at the same time she wasn’t gonna be mean to her and ditch her
@@quackdaddy69bahaha20 EXACTLY... I wonder why writers didn't point that out when the whole drama went on about Cassie and Nate's cheating
My god Zendaya is just such an incredible actress. I did not give a s#it about her my entire life but seeing her acting in Euphoria... Massively talented. I enjoy just watching her act. I'm taken aback of how much I can feel the emotion because she's just so well at portraying it. Wow.
fr
I used to watch shake it up and she was great there but haven’t watched her until Euphoria. She’s amazing
Cmon she is simply above average acting, good actress but nothing special
Also doing overexagerations in facial mimics doesn't mean to be good at acting, doing so looks trivial and not realistic, also she says every 2x3 the "fucking" word
@@breakingpieces7715 She took months to prepare this scene, and ACTUAL drug addicts had a hard time watching this bc of how accurate it is towards their life.. it is special
This is so real, addicts will tell you everything about yourself in the worst way but never deal with their own issues. Great scene
Maybe but Jules hurt her. She’s definitely not in the right here at all
But never deal with their own? Maybe in active addiction that's mostly true. But I'm 40 months sober and I own all my flaws, my shortcomings, my misdeeds, my lies & deception-all of it. What I find most interesting is I make amends to those I've wronged and NOT ONE person in my life has owned up to theirs against me. Like being on drugs somehow justifies being treated like shit. I was on drugs and dying everyday...what's their excuse?
@@andreabrookeotismoon2016 congratulations on 40 months. I’m only speaking for my experience, my uncle was a drug addict and my best friend is an alcoholic and they both came at me and others the same way. This scene just felt familiar too me.
Real ones know Jules is wrong lmao. Snitching is fine but nah she needed to talk her shit to Jules !!
EXACTLY if jules and Elliott don't get exposed I'm gonna stop watching
2:25-2:40 rue says my EXACT thoughts on this whole “let’s feel bad for jules” thing
She's not always in the wrong. She fucks up, yes, but literally so does everyone else. She cheated and lied, and rue lied to her too, about Elliot, about the drugs, about everything. I'd say they're equal
“ you love being loved!” Man that hit fucking hard
In this episode, Rue frantically shouts out to Jules the phrase "You don't love me, you just like the feeling of being loved", although it is said with the purpose of hurting the other party, but it may be the truth
In the living room, Rue could see, or had already seen, Jules' ambiguity with Elliot
From dropping Rue in the first season to cheating on Elliot in the second season, Jules didn't have an apologetic or ashamed performance for cheating, but enjoyed it. She cares about Rue, but betrays Rue so naturally
Elliot wasn't a nice guy either, he knew everything, knew Rue's stupid empty glove pill plan, and certainly knew the devastating consequences of doing so. But he did it anyway, selectively saying about Rue's relapse without saying where the medicine came from and how dangerous it was. Hand the knife to someone else and finally say with ease, "Maybe I shouldn't have done this."
Rue was really wrong, and she might have been right about this one
Well said
This scene gave me the closure I needed for my own breakups - everything Rue said to Jules is what I couldn’t say to my exes, she expressed everything that was left unsaid
Same...
the realest thing I've ever read
While I’m glad Rue told Jules how it is, I also like the fact that scene showed a side of Rue that Jules hadn’t seen yet. I don’t know why but I felt like it was like two worlds finally meeting.
truly makes you realise how unaware/ignorant jules was of all rue's issues and flaws
@@bumblerbree RIGHT!
1:49 - When I first saw this episode and saw Rue make that face, I saw how she was both right and wrong. Not to mention the tension in here face makes her look terrifying someone not to be messed with.
This scene is amazing and heartbreaking at the same time.
100%
“no the fuck you dont, you love being LOVED”
THAT RIGHT THERE
I love the way Rue dug into Jules with her actual words.
Jules messed up
''You [____] left me, when I [____] needed you''
They both hurt Rue. They both upset Rue. And they both didnt deserve Rue!!
People don't deserve to suffer actually. What a ghastly way of looking at the world. Like a game of tit for tat. Yikes.
agree with every word
There's people, all of them make shitty things, rue wasn't a good friend/couple either. They just had a bad time and made shitty things one to the other, but nothing, anything gives you the right of emotional abuse someone, and that's what I hate about this scene
Absolute legend for this, I def agree with you
I don’t think Jules is a terrible person in general.
I saw the episode and I was stunned by Rue's drug addiction and for scaring her family
Well youd be freaking the fuck out if you lost thousands worth of drugs that wasnt yours, Rue is terrified for her life , the dealers will do whatever they want to her now.
@@HBRchrisHBR yeah idk why tf rue didn’t try to explain that to her parents so that they wouldn’t think it was all to feed into her addiction, but it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway bc they flushed it all
@@cloudcastle338 I was thinking the exact same thing
@@Valkerson fr
You clearly do NOT understand drug addiction
Jules crying baby tears like she isn’t a horrible ass girlfriend who cheated on her. When rue said. “You love being loved” is too fucking true
@@iambreebree4919 glad somebody said it because unt unt. And it's funny because Elliot seemed to have brought up rue relapsing because he was trying to avoid going all the way (still wrong smh but he's an addict so) with Jules. He likes Rue though so hmm.
@@iambreebree4919 jules is having a really rough time off screen , her mom relapse , all the nate situation , therapy , she going off hormones , her toxic relationship with rue . 2:36 was great she said what is true go rue
Zendaya is beautiful even when she looks so burnt out
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the acting in Euphoria is absolutely phenomenal
THIS DOESN’T FUCKIN CONCERN YOU JULES
I laughed so hard when rue slapped Elliot 😭
Oh he cares about her but you go and cheat on her with him 😭?
And also did drugs with her and watched her OD smh he is no saint ! He was so fake in this scene !

“You love being loved!” Harsh but so so true.
Jules has been really selfish about some things, but I can't be mad at her either - except that she cheated, totally unacceptable - also zendaya is so great
Agreed They are better as friends then lovers, Jules isn’t faithful though she cares for Rue she nonstop committed as she believes to be
Jules: *after cheating on Rue* I care about you 🥺
Rue: 👁👄👁 Bitch-
Lmao
Take one second and appreciate How good of a actor Zendaya is. It’s crazy
watching Jules’s face crumble like that broke my heart. also, what a performance from Zendaya. just wonderful.
i love how rue’s mom said “sorry baby” to jules.
1:05 Rue looks dead into Jules’ soul and knew everything she needed to know
I hope by Rue doing this she will be able to get clean and help herself
I hope so too she seems to be hitting rock bottom by burning all these bridges
Like everyone that enabled her is turning her away(fez, lexi, elliott even gia) and that's what's necessary for her to truly take steps to be clean
I just want our girl to get well :(
“When I was at my lowest”
Her acting there is so on point
I mean when rue starts panting…
to be honest, i can relate to rue in this scene. i’ve been suicidal for years and i told some people that i’ve known for months and that i thought i could trust, until an hour or so later when i learnt that one of the people i told, someone i thought was my friend told their mom, and she told mine. my mom knew i was suicidal, but i still got called an attention seeker because apparently i would be ‘too scared to do it’. it’s been a real while, i know exactly who did it and to this day, i still want to say something like this to them. so rue is pretty much saying all the stuff i want to say
I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope you are in a far better place now.
i completely relate to this.
But that friend tried to help you, I hope you are in a better place now
“You love being loved.” OOF
She said the f word so many times can’t even count🤣🤣🤣
I was gonna ask for a f bomb count 😂 it's at least one every 9/10 lines
I just KNOW Zendaya's gonna get an award for this scene just like she did for the Fez scene
rue isn’t my fav and i hate jules but this needed to b said

My gosh, I thought I was never going to see an episode where the two of them break up😩 I honestly hate this duo. Rue deserves to heal and have someone that loves her, I hope we gradually see that from this show.
Rue catching her breath…brings me back to my own. That right there was so real
At 3:03 is pure talent
When she said lowest the tears started coming down ode 😭
How can Elliot stand being in that room hearing Jules say she loves Rue knowing he slept with her is beyond me.
One of the best scenes in the whole show
Her acting here is phenomenal. Wow masterpiece. If she doesn't get Emmy for that season I don't know what I wanna do. Her acting, she is more phenomenal than in first season. She should get it without effort.
I really do hope that rue and jules have a strictly platonic friendship in the future, and not a toxic relationship like Nate and Maddy
I didn’t even realize that Rue connects the dots and figures out what happened between them until now lol
Me: “Damn… Damn. Damn! DAMN. DAAAAAAMN”
0:40 💀 I can't stop replaying it
The head push took me out 😂😂😂😂😂

Zendaya is such a versatile actress like-
its almost scary😩🖤 she NEVER fails to COMPLETELY EMBODY whatever kinda of character she has to play.
Zendaya totally nailed the performance as rue!
When Jules accused rue of cheating and then cheats on her with Elliot 😐
Zendaya needs to win an Oscar for best actress
You mean an Emmy since Euphoria is a TV series.
She just won an Emmy.
"you love being loved" is so true!!!
to me,jules is giving a vibe that she wants rue to be healthy to be with her,not to just be healthy...
Zendaya is kind of scary when she’s mad.
zendays is such a good actress this whole scene makes me so emotional it’s so real
How is Jules worse? Rue emotionally abused her and lied to her gave and gaslit her

I understand her rage, you’re two most trusted friends sitting in your fucking house not only betraying her trust but the love she has for both of them & Jules cheated on her carelessly & Elliot’s toxic ass just let it happen

These 4 minutes of zendaya's acting is better than most 3 hours movies.
This scene really hurt and make me cry

i’m not a drug addict and never have been, but have struggled very severely with mental illness and this show perfectly sums up how it feels to be mentally ill
I respected Zendaya so much as an actress after this episode. She completely acted this scene 100 out of 10.
I know the scene is serious and all, but Rue's slap is so satisfying

She says the word fuck so many times. But tbh I’d do the exact same thing too if I was that pissed. And tbh I had a friend that was a lot like Jules. A narcissist who also liked being loved and always played victim and she was so toxic I had to end the friendship.
Can we just talk about Zendaya’s acting in this scene? LIKE BRO! She put so much effort into this scene and how she can play rues character so well? She puts so much energy into it, and is why she’s an amazing actress, like I’m not gonna cap! Love u Zendaya!
