How do you protect a cob home from rain while you’re waiting for it to dry? Just throw some tarps over it and anchor them down?

    Have a question ❓
    To this cob house,,
    I have a graceland shed.
It is complete on the outside,
Can i completely fill in wall cavities where insulation would go with adobe or cob. Windows open, doors open, wood stove would help dry Adobe quicker but i don't want to dry it to fast that might be a problem, not sure..
What do you think of my crazy mountain idea where we have plenty of adobe material on property and easy to get.. is this a dumb idea.. the siding on shed is T-111 plywood top quality there is no wrap around studs when they build them. This i think needsto change. Lots of people tell me it is not needed..because it is quality siding, plus without wrap, they say the building breathes.. So with that, can you advise on my idea to mud out the whole inside and dry it for a cozy cabin with windows and wood stove & buddy heater by Mr Heater...thankyou for your honest answer or thoughts..
    Your fan Harvey
UPDATE--as well I believe I would use bailing wire over facing of wall studs and or nails to give mud a place to grab on too. And I would probably stain for moisture on inside for the studs & inside part of t-111.. outside is treated, not inside..Thankyou for an answer on my idea..

I would like to know if you have some advice for me on the building that I want to construct. I need to go 4 stories high in some places. I also need a combination of roof types since some have to double up as roof terraces and others just need to cover the room underneath. I also do not want to use traditional stick frame roofs but instead traditional spanish style roofs, however I do not really know what these are or how exactly to seal them. I will also need to construct some columns and I want to know if adobe (mud brick) will work for this?

You could fill the walls with anything technically but that’s not cob or apples to apples . His video is about how long to build a cob house not a straw house
