Our host has said many times that this segment, the one right after the monologue where Dave just talks to us the viewers, is his very favorite segment on TV. We used to have it every single night, and sorely miss it.
Great story and what I like, besides the voice he does when he says "Leave that boy alone" is Paul at the end saying "... at your age, yeah." He sounds like the friend who has now heard the story and is thinking "Wow, you're an idiot."
How impressive to take this situation and what any celebrity would consider a very low point and turn it into Pure Comedy Gold. That’s not talent .. that is an Artist

Another great story was when Dave went jogging and somone asked him if he "knew where they found the body?". I think it was Mothers Day? Fathers Day? Dave drew a diagram on a chalkboard.
Yeah, well, Dave. You've made a career out of bothering people on the street! And some of those people were genuinely irritated, inconvenienced, upset and then put on national TV! You should have just smiled and let Chris and Beefy take your picture. You would have saved your heart some stress.
