MONTMARTRE (THIS is the BEST Area in PARIS!)

Montmartre is our favorite area in Paris! It is an artistic neighborhood that has the legendary Moulin Rouge, tons of beautiful cafes and cute streets, and the iconic Sacré Coeur. We spent a day wondering around Montmartre and completely fell in love with the area. Our first stop was for lunch at Bouillon Pigalle. This bistro serves traditional French food, desserts, and wines. The prices at Bouillon are very affordable and there are several locations around Paris. After lunch, we made our way to the most famous Parisian cabaret, Moulin Rouge. Each night the Moulin Rouge puts on a spectacular dinner show. The red building with the red windmill is one of the most famous landmarks in Paris. Because we were in the city of love, we had to stop by the Wall of Love. This wall has "I love you" in many different languages. Next, we wandered around the cobbled streets of Montmartre taking some time to sit at the Parisian cafes and enjoy wine. Our final stop in Montmartre was at Sacré Coeur. The church sits high on top of a hill and provides some of the best views in Paris. We recommend going around sunset. People gather along the steps leading up to the church and listen to music. It is the perfect way to end the day in Paris.

I geniunely envy people who can have a good amount of alchohol at noon, and still be able to enjoy the rest of the day. i just cant. its a strictly evening thing for me or i will be miserable. faster heart beats, feeling tired if i dont sleep or continue to drink.
