He didn't score as many 2nd half of the season but Antonio's all round game and brilliant work rate was a big reason Bowen and others got as many goals as they did

Yeah Antonio is a beast, good striker but also very unselfish. so many goals he setup
If everyone paid attention we certainly looked like prime Barcelona in the first half of the season but when winter arrived and we had no signings to boost the squad we just went on with fatigued and tired squad. Magnificent job by Moyes to keep us in Europe and even reaching UEL semis
This makes me realise how underrated benrahma was this season by us and moyes

We'll be even better next year lads, this was my first year watching football and I'm so happy I decided to make West Ham the team I support. Through the best and worst of times I'll always be a Hammer now.
Unfortunately with so many people leaving and no one wanting to join us, I fear for the team next season.

Great season…had some ups and downs but I hope we can hold onto Rice and Bowen and bring some more players in to build on an already great team. COYI ⚒
The energy level difference in most of the team, especially Antonio in the first half of this video compared to the latter half is very clear, poor guy was knackered....this tell the story why we fell away at the end, great season but the people with the purse can only be disappointed with themselves, not the team, not Moyes......COYI

antonio was so good for us in the 1st half of the season, shame he couldnt keep it up. I suppose thats what happened when you rely on a single striker to play every single game

This video just shows how vital and underrated Benrahma is. He gets stick because he “loses the ball” but what do you expect when he is an attackive player? Do you want your attackive players to constantly pass back? To constantly pass sidewards?
Fornals don’t get the same hate because he “RuNs”….
You need “runners” when you’re fighting a relegation battle, not for competing in competitions.
Liverpool/City/Chelsea etc. Don’t have “RuNnErS”. They have players who can actually play football. Fornals don’t get enough stick for how many times he loses the ball/doesn’t make passes/wastes chances with weak shots/slows the attack down etc.

This year was a little disappointing, but still, it was a good season. I hope we can strengthen the squad and get better results next season. I am grateful to the players who played the game with a small number of people.

GREAT STUFF…………………………just think what we might have been celebrating if the club had strengthened waaaaaay back in January 2022. Regardless of ANYTHING else. I look at it as a season of opportunities lost. We didn’t have depth in numbers (I am 62 and it has ALWAYS been a WHUFC problem) that cost us those opportunities. 8 weeks back we were flying in the Premiership, two domestic cups AND the Europa league. But once we took some injuries and bans etc. We had nothing good enough on the bench to save the day. The players did magnificently well. Fact is we just don’t have enough top quality players in the first team squad. That lies 100% with the board and management. So excuse me for NOT creaming my pants. But I look at it as a season of missed opportunities. Yes we scraped seventh for a place in next seasons Europa Conference League………….BUT it really really could have been sooooooooo much better than that.
If you want to take me to task re my comments. Just think on this. Look at the top four clubs. They all have (effectively) two first teams in their first team squads (22-25 players). Whereas we in comparison just about have one. IF (as we are continually told) we are going to compete and establish ourselves at the top table of English football. We too need to have such depth in numbers. So now is the time for the board and management to put up (invest BIG £’s)……….or shut up.

It’s got FA to do with parties. I want the team I support to be up their fighting with the best of them. Like I wrote………it has been a season of missed opportunity……….all down to lack of ambition and the appropriate level of investment. Maybe you are okay with being lied to and treated like a mug………..I’m not.

Back to back seasons in Europe would have been unimaginable a few seasons ago, someone who's supported us for as long as you have should surely be happy with what we've managed to do recently since good times have been few and far between
@@callumkirk5210 Hey listen this has been out most successful year on year back to back league finishes in the last 60 years…………I love that. Just pished me off that we didn’t strengthen last January………….and it showed in the last quarter of the season. That’s all 👍
