- Chicago Lecture by Swami Vivekananda - NET SET | Indian Literature | Heena Wadhwani
Chicago Lecture is a series of iconic speeches delivered by Swami Vivekananda, an Indian philosopher and social reformer. Swami Vivekananda visited Chicago, U.S.A. in the year 1893 to deliver his world-famous speech at the Parliament of Religions. He began with the salutation, "Sisters and brothers of America." In this video, we have narrated the entire speech word-by-word, along with summarising the same.
This is an important work, prescribed for UPHESC, BA, MA, NTA NET, SET, UPSC and other competitive exams. This will also help students preparing for GATE, CUET PG and more. This video is a part of the UPHESC English syllabus series by Heena Wadhwani.

Why not much about islamic religion
Hmm
We need to recognize that when Swami Vivekananda spoke in Chicago, the majority of his audience were Christians. Islam was still an oriental religion with limited reach in the Western countries.
Again, Swamiji emphasized unity and the importance of every religion avoiding aspirations for global dominance. Considering this perspective, it's futile to dwell on why a specific religion wasn't discussed extensively.
