This one was perhaps of the favourite treks i have done so far! It tested my fitness for sure but what beautiful views. In fact Meghalaya is a paradise. Every corner is stunning. I will be exploring Arunachal next year and i am excited. North east is a beauty. I have visited Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya and i think a part of me belong to NE.

When I was there in the North East of India during eighties, it was scary to ride motor bike beyond Shillong, not because of any other threat, but NOT BEING SURE ABOUT any decent place being available to eat vegetarian food!!
