its cool to see what blender looked like in 2014. Blender 2.92 looks very different, makes everything so easy but the steps you did here to make the wolf would probably be the same. Minus a few things, like mirroring doesnt have a "merge" option next to clipping anymore and we could do with just the clipping. thanks for posting this! I have to try this technique out!
This is so simple yet Soo good-looking
Doggo has born!
klkkkkkkmkkllmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................mmmmmmm...... ..mmmmmmllkmlmkmmmkklllmkķkkk
Big ole' woofer emerges! :3
Every time I watch you you make me more envious of your abilities. You just make it look so easy! Of course, whenever I attempt something like this, I end up quitting halfway through because of how horrendous it looks XD
Ah, well, keep up the great work. One thing I know for sure is that you are an excellent source of homework music, so you've got yourself at least one constant viewer.
Love your work flow. Starting with the base of the legs and up into the body.
This is now my preferred method for 3D printing low poly animals. Much easier than with having the legs extruded out of the sides of the body.
Awesome job, keep it up!
thank you so much for providing such a precise & speedy demonstration. ^^ very easy to follow the workflow & this seems like an incredible deliberate practice to undertake, to learn to speed-model like this.
Glad you enjoyed this!
I really need to stop watching these videos. They just make me feel bad about myself..
+Kyo Grey Take it easy and don't stop :)
+Kyo Grey haha
just keep trying :D
They should make you feel the opposite, because you can slow it down to half and quarter speed and take a look at all the commands and methods being used, and add those tricks to your own arsenal.
If anything, these videos are awesome tutorials.
me too :(
Beautiful! I love it!
That little wolf turned out so cute! :D
Beautifully done! Absolutely stunning!
The style of low Polly is charming
I love your style soooo much! It's so simple, but it's really charming, somehow! +1 subscriber
It's not HIS style. It's kinda like an art style.
Clean, perfect modeling. Good job!
looks neat as hell, man. Im starting to look into low poly modelling - Im definitely subbing :)
This man is a complete legend.
Man, low poly reminds me so much of the Beautiful Katamari series. That's why I love it.
Dang 6 years feels like a eternity ago
I love low poly because it looks neat!!
Yasssss you used a Alaskan Klee Kai for the base, and my dog is an all named Kima

Excelente! Muchas gracias! :-D
I know you're trying to make a wolf but using a dog's anatomy won't help you get the proper anatomy for a wolf, but this is a very nice video and it's very helpful !!
Awesome
Low poly wolf: uses a dog as a reference. well then. they arent the same thing, you know? a very cute sculpt none the less.
Thanks
Nice, thank you.
upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/ca/Siberian-husky.jpg :This is the link to the ref image that is being used in the video; for those of you that can't find a good wolf image
I didnt know Huskies were wolves.
Not really. imgur.com/o59OjIX Just use a wolf reference as reference.
Actually it's nor a Wolf, nor a Husky... It's a Malamute ^^'
Thats a Husky not a wolf ._.
Perfect!
good idea, i'll try it. i think low poly will not make my computer slow
MUY BUENO...!!!
i know nothing about this stuff, is what he did hard because it looks it but also looks really cool
its not that hard once you get used to the program and all of its controls
S A V A G E
Really cool video. I wish I could do this stuff. There's so much I don't know. I don't even know what it is I don't know.
Awesome as always. ;) I'm happy because i want to have a wolf in my game. :D
>:(
you stole my idea you mudderfaquer!
@@bluwolfgamr1993 I don't know what's going on here but I'm on ur side
nice!
Subbed!
greate!
awsme:D
Awesome video! Would you repeat this same process and tweak if it were to be an actual model, but just apply a subsurf and smooth it out?
Very good low poly wolf! Perfect to use in game engines. Can you make a 2º part for this tutorial, about texturing this model, what you think?
The front dog legs are backwards o.0 beyond that, awesome video!
nice doggo
Thank you sir :D
If you were trying to make a wolf, it's terrible. But if you were going for a husky then it's really good..
fantastic video do you have a tutorial for adding bones to that model
Tryed to make one of these too
its look like it crawled out of super hell and took over an hour
Your are awesome
super awesome!
is there anyway to watch normal speed video?
"Low poly wolf"

@@mrbig2412 soo...it's not a wolf..
@@nenopaws Who cares? It's low poly.
@@Shunuk. I was explaining what they said-
@@Shunuk. all huskies low polly in real life
@@Shunuk. Guess i'll just make a low poly fish and call it a low poly giraffe ezpz
mola muchisimo
You inspired me to give modelling a shot:). For some reason though my objects won't duplicate and mirror... Am I missing something here?
Edit: facepalm! didn't change to edit mode.
You are a good boy
I would like to watch the rigging of wolf.. it will be so helpful
센스있다....오..
I think it would help it you have a reference image of the front of the wolf. I have the same sort of problem like you where I keep on changing how far apart the legs are because I'm not sure. I noticed you did that roughly three or four times.
I thought that this is a lesson so I have found some time to learn, downloaded blender and become sad that this is timelapse ((
PS: nice wolf!
Wow!
awesome looks like it would be GREAT in a low poly game of some kind! with a low poly art style but still looks nice!
Try to keep limbs slightly thin though because fur grows on limbs.. the limbs dont grow as thick as the fur. so they dont look TOO stubby.
but looks great and nice overall.
I like the method. I know blender pretty well but i'm not the best at modeling. I can do some interesting quirky things with modeling though.
My favorite and most accustomed to version of blender is 2.49b
cool
