Thanks for the excellent video. I'm diagnosing a 2006 Sorento 2.5 turbo diesel with a slow oil leak and a loud rattle around the top front of the engine, around the right-hand cam sprocket (when looking at the engine from the front of vehicle). Sounds like the chain is contacting the housing or similar. Any thoughts?

Thanks again for the videos. I'm changing the timing chain and have taken the cover off, but the timing markers do not line up. So I want to turn the motor over by hand. What is the size of the socket used at 5.28? Or is there a better way to line them up? Thanks in advance.

Hi ..i have problem with my oil dip stick,it always blow out and oil come out from it and also white smoke .and m oil also going to my turbo and intercooler.. after that happen ,i use oil catch tank to saparate the oil to enter my turbo but it doesnt sounds same like before when it happen.do u know the reason ?i hope u read my comment.. and help me about it

hello, can you help me please i see that you are a kia sorento guru, i have a kia sorento 2006 2.5 crdi 170 hp, the timing chain was replaced about 21000 km in kia dealer with original parts , in 2018, the car had 124000, now the car has 145000km, when cold ( in the morning) sometimes makes rattling noise for about 1-2 seconds, end if i let the car sit for about 2-3 hours with the engine still warm, makes the same noise, sometimes it does the sound sometimes it doesent make the sound, could be the tensioner gone bad, losing oil? or the timing is gone (stretched) in that short period of time? what chain tensioner brand shoul i use( i am in Europe) or genuwine from kia? i am using mercedes benz mb 229.51, 5w30 oil, thank you in advance! thank you for your videos!
Hi, I think the problem is the chain tensioner, does it often. I use 5w40 oil
