  • Basically I shouldn't have fallen over the spinnaker sheet, it all went downhill from there.

      You're not wrong, it's been a steep learning curve since July! Mistakes still happen but now somewhat less dramatic, and I know how to fix them!

    Main problem I can see was the spinnaker halyard was let off too quickly ..

      From what I remember we were attempting a stretch and blow drop, but I think there was a fair bit of miscommunication happening all round 😅

      Helm should hold dead run, overtrim the spi, halyard drop half in quick to depower it, then the crew can pick the foot asap
