Hi there, great video! I was wondering if it is worth going to an Ivy school that is super expensive. I may or may not be interested in specializing in the future, and also wish to not spend the rest of my life paying off dental debt. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!
I was just talking about my experience 😊 I can only speak on what I know! And since interest was paused most of my time in dental school, I really only came out with 200k. (Living expenses included. But of course, interest will change that with time.

New subscriber here! :) LOL when you said loans are an investment to the future of the nation you sounded like a sales pitch for federal loans haha made me chuckle. I'm in the same mindset though this profession will pay for those loans. Got to do what you got to do to make it through!
Does credit or income effect how much aid you can get in aid? also were u from dallas initially? because i thought out of state tuition would have an effect as well.
So with loans do you get “paid”monthly? Lol Like you can use it to pay rent right? I’m predent but haven’t had to use loans yet. Thank you for all the info
this video spoke to me, because these numbers are scary! do you think taking out $400,000+ in loans for dental school is wise considering most general dentists don't make that much? Or do they?
Yes! A general dentist can easily make that much money in a few years. And if you’re a practice owner, you could have the potential to make that much money in one year!
Anyone else scared to get student loans?? Trust, it's gonna be okay. It's an investment. You just gotta be smart about it!

Wow i am dental student from Brazil and dentistry college here is pretty expensive too but it is nothing compared to this value in USA...

Wow that is a lotta money. Here in the UK it’s around 60k ish depending on how much u take out each year

For grad school they’re all unsubsidized and I get mine through the school aka the government
