I'm no fan of Scaramucci, it's refreshing to hear his frank honesty now, though I wish he'd had such clarity when he was in the administration. Two quibbles with what he said here: SHS is anything but a decent person, she's as shameless a Trumpy sycophant as any of the others. And at (3:00), under no circumstances is it okay to commit perjury, in a case like this or ANY CASE, full stop. Perjury is illegal, and it's illegal because it is reprehensible and corrosive to the legal system. I suspect his career path has polluted his logic into carving out some exceptions where perjury could be seen as a tactic instead of what it is: a crime, and punishable (rightly) by incarceration if warranted. He's saying HH would be smart not to commit perjury. She'd be more than smart, she'd be not committing a serious crime.
Everyone who has ever worked with Donald Trump has shown poor judgement and so whatever they get in return is because of that poor judgement.
Plus, sycophants and hangers-on are, and will forever be, both laughable and tragic.

re: Trump and McDougal. It seems to me they had an ongoing mutual relationship over the years which included many intimate fireside moments and all that romantic stuff. If this is correct, then Ms. McDougal is the second saddest story of the trial (she actually fell in love with the lout!), second only to the poor soul who apologized to the first responders for setting himself on fire in front of the courthouse.
