    how did it ride before the fix?
    was he switching gearls earlier in the rev range and the motorcycle not able to reach redline?

    I’m surprised oil wasn’t coming out the weep holes from loose plugs. But likely rattling from the plugs also.

    I've a 2001 600 gsxr .
    ran perfectly for 7 months and then a few weeks ago , was out with a few mates and as we accelerated around a bend ( about 100kph) the bikes cluster went blank and the bike shunted forward like I hit the front break and had no throttle response . came back on a split second later and all was good just taught it was a glitch or something
    few days after this same again .
    few days after that on the m50 the bike dies in the fast lane and have to bring it to the hard shoulder across 3 lanes with no power .
    turned it off and back on and it was all good . brought it to a a garage and they took it for a hour on a spin and found no issues . even told him to give the bike some drop gears and stuff because there is a issue with it .
    taught it was maybe the front air intake was broke or something simple but still can't figure it out .
    rewired the bike . changed alot of things .
    I think the next thing will be the stator .
    give you no confidence when out in a group and you've to keep up or even over taking

      Could be something simple. Like the kickstand switch might be loose, or the switch that shuts the bike off if it is on the ground.

      @@twowheels6191 Agreed. Start with the simple, easy to check stuff before tearing it apart.
      Many years ago, I came in to find my father had his hi-fi all apart, in pieces down to the circuit boards etc and all the parts strewn about. He said it wouldn't work and he was fixing it.
      I asked, "did you check the fuse first?". He got mad saying it was something else. I went away saying ok, ok, you fix it.
      I came back 3 or 4 hours later and my mother whispered to me, "you were right, it was just the fuse in the wall plug"
      I laughed hard.

    On a K8 750 I noticed a hesitation last week. Filled her to the brim with 100 octane and it cleared it up. Now a week later I’m noticing a loss in top speed but bike is running great. Just feels restricted. Gonna try new plugs and air filter. Thanks for this video

      I am 07 an the same shit! I change filter for fuel and air all sparks. Replaced my clutches and I’m much better

    Worh checking your kickstand cut-out switch. After months of bogging it turned out to be rattling itself into a couple of milliseconds of fuel cut-off.... Fastened the bolts and made sure that its tightly secured in the up position and boom bogging no more!!! 💯🚀👌🏻

    BRO, I HAVE THE SAME EXACT BIKE, SAME YEAR, SAME COLOR AND SAME PROBLEM!! MY BIKE IS LOOSING HORSE POWER AND VERY HESITANT WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE ON THE GAS!       Most of the time you need your chain tightened. That makes a major difference and you will be surprised how quickly these chains need maintenance.

    My bike just started doing this after running around 130-140 mph for about an hour on the highway. What’s weird is there is no FI code? Bike loss power at all rpm’s and was shooting flames out of the exhaust. Was his bike throwing any FI codes?

    You think if I change my spark plugs and air filter will solve it?

      Did you ever fix the issue? My 2009 is having the same issue. I replaced spark
      plugs and fuel pump, which did not fix it

    Nice video! I have an 05 Gixxer 1000. Over the past few years the bike would just die on me when I am on the highway. The check engine would come on and a dash symbol where the gear indicator would be. Had it at two different dealers and both times they checked everything and they could not find nothing wrong with it. I have a power commander III with a Brock full system. I do smell a slight electric smell coming from the power commander. Could that be it. Any advice would help.. Thank you.

      Thanks brothers, sounds like it might be an electrical problem, were you able to get codes for the check engine light. I would check the the wires, since it’s an 05 all the vibration over the years can wear out the wire protector and cause a short or it could be something simple as the kick stand switch.

      Mine recently did that. I changed everything from the battery, to the R/R, relays, Fuses including the main one on top of the starter solenoid, as well the ECU. Fired right up.

      2017 Gsxr 1000 with yoshi slip on exhaust I’ve had it for 3 1/2 years only did oil change last week was high revving at a light then did burn out 😅 and hear an exhaust pop probably about 15 min later hit eway and didn’t get WOT just struggling to accelerate but made it home intact definitely need some help need to get my wife back 😢

    so i really need your help. i have gsxr 600 k6, and when i tried to go full speed and around 13k rpm my bike is just cutting of... ive tried multiple times it has power all the time but when it kicks 13k rpm it just cuts off.. i have akrapovic slip on, de-cat, no ecu flash... it rides nice all the time but struggles at high rpm, what could it be?? please help...

      @@oniramos8187 Yes i did, it was the side stand switch... i just cut the wire from the switch and connect those 2 together, i have been riding for a month and it runs perfectly, the only thing i have to make sure my side stand is closed when i go riding

      If it lost power and turned off while riding. It could be a few different things, but the easiest thing you can do is make sure it’s not the regulator rectifier.
