- I don't like flying. I especially don't like flying over volcanoes.

It was fun.
It was spectacular.
It was horrifying.
Never again.
Never say never.
Next up: Skydiving into an active volcano? :D
Super loved it! Poor pilot! lol
I can´t wait for Journey Across Asia and Europe by bike and boat to get to the UK☺
One one hand I'd like to try doing this myself, because it's an amazing once in a lifetime experience. On the other hand I would never... 🤣 But actually I'd prefer this over a rollercoaster anytime, I hate rollercoasters with a passion!
It's hilarious that Joey seemed to have ended up more perturbed than Chris at the end of the flight.
It’s like two sides of the one person - Joey being annoyingly happy, Chris being overly annoyed 🤣🤣🤣
By their powers combined they are bipolarity!
This channel is a nice way to appease us until the fully edited content comes out on the other channel. As always, I’m enjoying the content man and I look forward to your short film this year.
It's already out
the original video is already out, yes czcams.com/video/T-rIWP1icf4/video.html
The other way around actually
I know, I just meant I like this new channel with the clips because it gives me something to watch until he uploads a full video to one of his other channels. Thank you guys for the reply’s though.
@@Brian-yx2lo he posts the clips after the full video bro
Journey across the Pacific Ocean: escape to England
“Hey guys, welcome to my journey where I swim back to England because I’m never flying again. I’m joined by Natsuki and Garnt this time.”
Absolute respect for the person you paid to film this for you guys, they had nerves of steel to keep it together for the content. They certainly deserve a shout-out.
Good luck on your video career, son
The smaller the plane, the more you feel every bump and movement it does
Both Joey and Chris looked genuinely scared
but I love how no matter how scared/tired or w/e Chis is he will never forget to record stuff with as much professionalism as one can possibly do.
Chris rode the bullet train from presumably Sendai to one the farthest places he can get in Mainland Japan instead of taking the plane. It takes a total of 3 trains and takes like 8 hours plus transfers. Chris really hates planes.
I didn't even know I needed this channel. Good call, Chris. Thank you so fucking much ❣️
this channel was a great idea, its always nice to see footage that didnt get into the original video
This footage was in the original video though
@@DasDieDerErik was it aye
@@GidenUltimus At least the majority of it, maybe it has some deleted scenes, I didnt compare the clips side by side
This was actually one of my favorite parts in your latest Journey Across Japan series! Second to Too Much Volcano of course!
To be fair I never blamed Chris for feeling extremely anxious sitting on that plane. I don't know much about planes but that looks about as barebones as a plane can get, even the window looked like it was gonna fall apart any second. I'd be absolutely shitting myself the entire trip if I was in there, fucking terrified for my life
The plane looked just fine :) There is some genuine danger in flying small planes like this, but it's comparable to driving a motorcycle. The only thing you really need to worry about is the engine failing (no big deal for a big jet that has multiple engines and can fly perfectly fine with just one, but if this Cessna loses its one engine, all you can do is glide down and hope you can find a place to land).
But they're flying high enough here, I'm sure the pilot always had an airfield they could land at in case something like that happened. It's no huge deal.
Joey’s face during takeoff says it all 😆
Didn't catch before that Norm was also in the plane.
He got asked back by the plane company to film some promos too, flying close formation to film one plane from another.
i flew back from Germany in early 2020 and the turbulence was lobbing people around so much and we took like 3 attempts to land, i was like.. this is it
That actually probably means you were very safe, believe it or not. Aborting the landing and going around for another attempt is always the safe option, trying to get down no matter what can be dangerous. If your pilot is happy to always go around when they think the approach is unstable or there's something they don't like, it means they have a "safety first" mindset, and you're in very good hands.
Joey and Chris panic in the back seat, Norm chillin in the front seat lol
Some of the volcano shots are better than the edited version
I remember Chris said this volcano erupted a few days after this. They really could've died here. Days are short in volcano time.
Loving the Clip Channel! I can get My quick fun bites as I wait for the really heavy stuff! Brilliant idea!
That was a hard watch. No seatbelt, open window, plane tips 90 degrees...aaaaaaah!
One of my favourite clips. Absolutely shitting it swaps half way through ha
0:14 The poor cameraman who never got to go on the plane 😢
I could not handle this . Like , it must just feel too crazy
I have watched every full-length AIJ video at least twice (some of them 100 times)..... and I will still watch them here and support Chris' new channel 🥰
You couldn't pay me enough to get in that plane. I'd pass out from fear.
This just reminds me it's about time to rewatch through the series. Time for some cycling~
This is one of the few times when Chris does something he's scared of. He should do it more. 🤭
That's what I'm saying! His raw impressions are gold lol
It's funny how both of you were scared but don't want to hold on to each other, so you end up holding each other's t-shirt for the shortest time possible 🤣
It’s the Rickshaw of the airways.
One of your most memorable moments ✈️🌋
I'm still not sure why the pilot didn't give you all headsets for in air communication? Even the pilot wasn't wearing a headset.
Any other GA pilots or aviation enthusiast give me your views on this please.
I believe I once found an instructional video for GA pilots back in the 1960s and they didn't wear any headsets either.
I guess it's timeless Japan strikes again.
These old 172s always had speakers and handheld microphones installed in them as far as I know, so technically you don't need headsets to communicate with air traffic controllers and fly. But obviously without the headsets, it's just a lot noisier. Had to fly a couple friends once before and since I didn't have enough headsets, every time someone wanted to ask something, we had to talk over the engine, which was loud, but bearable.
I've been a private pilot for a long time, and I would never fly without a headset. The engine is *really* loud.
I'd agree with the "LOUD" statement. I remember getting all sticky from older headphones but there was no way I was flying without it. Been a few years since I've been up in a small plane but my friends used to own several. You can yell and be heard but it's easier with the headphones and an intercom.
I am a pilot and I do wear a nice noise-suppression headset but there are a lot of professional pilots who wear 1 in-ear headset still!
even some of the big pilot youtubers wear a 1 in-ear headset while flying more sophisticated quiet/pressurized aircraft but not a loud Cessna 172 lol
Brilliant!
Ah finally a channel that rivals daily dose of internet that has videos catered to my attention span
I imagine the pilot was thinking “fucking foreigners” several times during the flight.
Time to sub to a new Chris channel. Lets GO!
One of the best moments of this series hahahahaha
Ooooh clip channel
Lol that was entertaining to watch 😂
Nice 👍
Mmm abroad snacks!!!
Sheeeeet, that looks scary as Fukushima! 😬😬😨
When Chris was nonchalantly opening the window mid flight I was like ‘Dude, wtf are you doing?!’ 😂🤪
Absolutely beautiful view though, thank you for sharing as I’m sure I would never see that view in my life otherwise because I would probably have a heart attack like Chris was about to have 😝
So much Volcano.
I’d do it for ice cream
I'd take the ice-cream. But i'd do it for sh!ts and giggles ;)
haha look at you holding on to Joey!
Thats liiiiit
Don't mind me Chris. Just here to support your third channel for the moneyyyy
"too much volcano", huh chris?
must be pretty scary, when the plane always leans to the left.
You can never have too much 🌋😁
And so...like Kamen Rider Ichigo of yore, Chris gains a Sakurajima form
It’s so shaky and looks dangerous yet the best thing to experience
So glad I didn't buy flying lessons for my son's birthday after all. He would have screamed through every minute of this.
“It’s like a ROWLAH CO-STAR”
You know he was fighting for his life! :P
Interesting that there is now a clips channel
why is this so good?
Fine I’ll sub to your silly clips channel
Now hug your pilot...
And thus ASO too much volcano was born
At last... the Flight of Fear... what *really* happened...
Chris is getting in a plane again
He is your bird😅😅😅
4 minute clip huh? tryna get that sweet ad rev
Chris you should upload any clips you have under or 1 minute long, as youtube shorts, they seem to be doing better in the algorithm rn
Now I feel like I need a fish eye lens
As someone who is afraid of heights, this is still a Big Mood.
0:00 That's what she said.
Classic
When everyone is methodically trying to kill Chris
Might I suggest some dramamine for your next flight? 😉
Abroad in a pan
That's just too much volcano.
Thats too much volcano
Hi w much was the plane ride
Extra salami
These planes are some of the most docile and safest planes on earth, a child could fly them. (Some do). I don’t see what they are so afraid of lol
No one gets nervous riding in a car driving down a bumpy road. This is the same thing.
Too much volcano!
which one would you choose chris, stuck in the backseat of a cessna or in the backseat of a drifter?
Haven't we done this already...?
Holy fuck Joey looked like xqc in the thumnail
do it again but now with ryotaro
completely plastered could be interesting ;)
Is this B-Roll from last year...?
Anyone know the music at 2:58?
I can’t believe none of you guys (even the pilot) are using headsets. It’s not a problem, per se. Piston aircraft are just so loud, I would get annoyed.
My very first plane ride was on a glider as a kid with my uncle being the pilot. I loved it. This though looked crazy and a tad unsafe...lol
How much is needed for it to be considered too much volcano?
Apparently one if you're flying.
@1:00 why such a hard bank to the right, so close to the ground? Clearly not to avoid terrain. Seems unnecessarily risky.
Am absolute classic.
I am still wondering why tf the pilot wasn't wearing a headset
I'm missing Natsuki here 😝
Should I be ashamed at how much pleasure I seem to take in watching two of my favourite people suffer so much?
So was it chris idea to put the camera man up frount ensuring himself a soft landing
Ok but listen the song in the background slaps and no one talks about it.
Anyone know what it is?
A reasonable amount ...of volcaNAno
Hi
We are reuploading clips from journey because we haven't finished anything else?
More like Joey eats his words on flying over a volcano.
A S O
Too much volcano!
