he's probably talking about the id, it was a courtesy on jps part to give him id. The cop sort of covered his ass when he talked about suspicious activity under the bridge, implying jp could have been related to a possible crime which would then give the cop authority to demand I'd. But honestly nothing wrong happened here, someone called it in, the cop got called out and asked for hi license so it wouldn't come back on the cop if jp kept playing music. By jp offering up the license he is pretty much saying "ya I recognize im making noise, if I continue to do so none of the blame is yours, its all mine"... No real violation of rights just common courtesy between people

Let me guess, you're the kind of person who stirs up trouble all because you're hell bent on proving a point. I live in Texas as well, I've had at least 4 run-ins with cops, not a single ticket. One was because I didn't have a front license plate, 2 for noise complaint, another for going a little over the speed limit. The officer came out, told me what the violation was, asked for my ID, gave it back 5 seconds later, we chit-chatted for a minute and we both went our separate ways. If I had refused (for no reason, just to prove a point and be an ass-hat, much like yourself), a simple routine traffic stop that only took 2 minutes probably would have lasted a lot longer and wasted both of our times. There is absolutely no reason to escalate a situation, especially when you were in the wrong. Maybe if I was just walking down the street and was asked for my ID, then I would question it, but when you are getting people calling the police on you that's a different situation. Learn to pick your fights.

I say that because I had a different encounter with Law Enforcement that said that same thing to me. He wrote my name down and we kept it moving. But this Officer grabbed his mic once he got dudes ID card and called it in.

The same thing will happen to anybody's ears if they are subjected to extremely loud noises yes some may take longer then others to damage but the end result is still the same. You ever had someone fire a gun next to your head or leave a loud concert and your ears ring afterwards, well this level of noise at extended listening times will cause the same thing to happen. Once the tiny hairs in your ears are damaged and gone your in for some hearing loss and tettanis. Trust me I know from first hand experience.

my first system cost around 2k, but i had a HO alt and extra battery lol. Was also my high school senior project
I only spent under $600 on my bass for my house: $300 1500wRMS crown amp, two $100 mofo 15" subwoofers, four $15 4" flared ports with my 8.7 cubic feet box tuned to 27 hz and I see the walls moving and across the room on the other side of the house the mirror shakes. This is the super bang for your buck. Mofo subs are the best deal you can get. You don't need to spend $150+ on subs or an expensive powerful 5000 watt amplifier. But the secret to getting it loud is the placement. I placed my box in a 100 cubic feet shower with the door clamped shut with an opening at the top tuning it to 38hz but around 26hz sounds as loud as the higher bass notes. With my setup I can turn it on full power and it will last forever with zero distorting because of the amps distortion preventer and the amp never gotten warm from hours at nearly full power and the subs never get hot from the constant abuse I put them through.

I used to have a HI-FI shop until my partner died at age 26y, 10m, 3d old. I had the loudest system in the county, people could hear me coming almost 3 miles away inside the local Wal-Mart store, I could crack the windshield from the base. I really miss the days of thumping as we called it, but I sold a lot of my equipment but did keep enough to setup another small system with a couple 12's solo's. I used to run 2x 18" subs, 2 x 15"subs, 4 x 12" solo-baric subs" I hat to run 2 alts to keep all 4 batteries charged and still killed them about ever 3-4 months, using 8 x 1,000,000 caps to the amps to help with the sudden power drawl, the rest of the car was setup with Polk Audio Mids and Highs with Linear Power 5002IQ, 2202IQ, 1502IQ amps which I am still a deal for by the way, they are back in business as well as Phoenix Gold, Kicker, Kenwood and Pioneer products, I still kept all my or at least 95% of my lines we had.
But all the years of loud music and bass caused my ears to flood with wax, which was lucky for me because it saved my hearing, after having all the wax removed with a pair of fine tipped tweezers for 3 days on and off at night, my ears closed up from the swelling of the trauma of removing it, but after about a week the swelling went down and I could hear a mouse fart again, but I learned to be careful with my hearing.
I have been thinking about setting up my system again, but not as big as I was, I bet I was about the same give or take than this guy, but at wholesale I could afford to do it.

Thats how you conduct yourself when police come.They doing there job and just checking things out. You aren't doing anything illegal( well maybe if there is a sound ordinance) but still they were cool and the truck owner was cool. All was good. Just note that to the people that get all huffy and puffy when police come.
On another note I finally got to hear one of these things yesterday. I see all the vids and was at a car show and the dude said hop in. I just could not believe what i felt and heard. Something i will remember for the rest of my life. Depending what I can remember at an old age.
Sometimes you don't have to get all huffy and puffy. Some cops are bullies and it won't matter if you are being cool with them and cooperating. These cops in the video were cool. They were just checking things out. Other cops want to beat people or kill them for no reason and cover it up. I have experienced bully cops before. They charged me with bogus crap. They thought I was an idiot who was not going to fight them in court. They did not show up to the court date and one had quit. All charges against me were dropped.
