While the latest 'full release' may be 2.1.3, that version is quite outdated as only critical work has been done to it, where as for many months now 2.2.0 has been the focus for all of the major improvements, performance benefits, and module updates.
Even though 2.2.0 is listed under 'beta builds' all modules still need testing before being included into the build so 2.2.0 is actually very solid for the vast majority of modules and many of the most popular modules such as ATEM, vMix, OBS, etc... have had large number of new features added that are not available in 2.1.3
Also, closing out of the Elgato software is only required on Windows, where as for all other OS types it's possible to use both at the same time as long as they are loaded in the correct order. At least with 2.2.0 anyway, 2.1.3 may or may not include that fix, but for anyone wanting both Companion and some Elgato features then it is something that they can look in to.

So, in order to make the whole thing work I need to buy the stream deck XL? Don't tell me that I need to spend $250 more.
There is a 15button companion file in the dropbox folder! Just use that file!

I have an Atem 2 M/E 4K. The companion file is made for the mini extreme. Is there an easy workaround to make it work for the 2 M/E 4K?
The solution seems to be to import individual pages :)

tanks for all! Can I mix Cam and ssrc In the production! When I switch from ‘full caméra view ‘ and a macro with ssrc ( background + 3 sources) i’ve like a ugly glitch! An idea to solve ? Tx a lot!
Is this happening when using our transition macros?
If not, I know a glitch can be caused by using multiple macros in a companion command. Maybe instead of using a mix of companion commands and macros, do everything in one macro. If you're switching from say camera 1 to your supersource with 1 button you could also: have your macro create the look and put it in preview, then do a 1 frame delay followed by a cut/dissolve.
@@A2ZProductions Nice! Thanks for Quick answer ! This glitch is like the Atem have to ´build’ the screen. I’ll try to preview the srx in the macro and add a 2 frames sleep. I’m writting my own macros. I began this monday to learn, Run my first one hour show yesterday! Thanks for Your Time, Help and video’s

@@A2ZProductions I've a 'huge prob' since using your wonderfull macro's. It's now impossible for me to record any macro. Restore have no effect on my macro... I've only yours... :-( An Idea?
@@pierrejeanjean9355 Restore will only effect the macro positions that are used in the xml file. For example if you have macros programmed in slots 1-20 on your switcher, restoring your macros with our pack will have no effect on macros 1-20 because those positions aren't being used in our xml file.
Maybe start your video over when it doesn’t go as planned
It's a shame how unreliable companion is. Half of this video is double checking whats wrong, which always happens after updates or even restarting :(
