Uncle Larry-great tip on the Stud Finder bridge. My 56 Jr never played or sounded as great as it does now!!
i know im asking randomly but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Nathan Elliot Instablaster :)
@Kashton Emiliano i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out now.
Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kashton Emiliano it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
@Nathan Elliot you are welcome :D
What’s up uncle Larry! I never comment but just wanted to tell you I love the content. One of the hidden gems of CZcams.
Thanks Buk, your channel has been a fave of mine since the madness started. Your content is always enjoyable and enriching to watch and you always seem to come over so natural ,unpretentious and non contrived. Wishing you and yours the best of everything always!
you're just so damn gifted man. just love to hear you play. it moves me every time...
Ordered one of those prints as soon as you showed it, they look amazing. I'm gonna hang it right over my guitar shrine as a reminder that class is always in session. You have been a great source of inspiration and you always make me want to pick up my guitar and play after a homeskoolin session. A million thanks mate and keep it up!
Love the bass playing, Uncle Larry! And always lovely to see that LP. Thanks!
Hey Tom, the past month I have played two open mics as a guitar accompaniment for my friend. These shows being the first time playing guitar in front of strangers. I remembered you talking about the old southern joke so I tried to take my time going into solo sections and just feel it out. I still think I rushed a bit, but I’m glad to have help from all your videos! I will master the flow of taking it slow someday.
AWSOME chubby ! your an ENTERTAINER ! welcome to the club .
Great start, keep it up!
Man, I was content living an average musical life, in my room till you started doing these...It’s cost me some money(a little new gear) but I’m playing out a little now and I’m all passionate about it again! Thank you Uncle Larry!
BTW
I live close to Muscle Shoals, You’re right! Time to grab the wife and go again!!!
Ah..Uncle Larry, not sure what i dig the most in your playing, the solos or your fantastic chord voicings....keeps telling me the magic starts in the chords....thanks a million for the sharing.
Finding all these now has been an absolute gold mine. Some of the best feel to ever do it, no doubt. Appreciate you Uncle Larry👍
Love it. Thanks TB
I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see a guitarist on CZcams perform a solo that’s comprised of tasty licks and melodic structures, and is not someone just trying to string together notes as fast as humanly possible. Beautiful playing, sir. #sickofshred
Thanks BUK!!! We love and appreciate you man.
Wow, love the funky bass line! Great all around. Thank you, Tom.
When you first started playing I was thinking She's Gone. Love ya man. Thanks for all you do for us.
That transition from Am7((9) to Open E(11) brings me to places. Thanks Tom! You are exceptional as always! :)
Nice as always, you bring spring feeling and a smile all the way to sweden.
All the best man
That little bit of All The Young Dudes at the end of the loop made me smile and crack a beer at the same time.
Tommy you’re so chill
I think we sometimes forget what a legendary session monster you actually are!!!
Great to see that smile on your face there Tom and the doorwide open. The experience at Muscle Shoals is obvious. Haha..
You can't even hide it! Lol
Thanks for taking us along man, soooooo cool!
My favorite thing about you is that you dare to be different by just being you.
Awesome licks fresh back home.
Seeing a new Bukovac video online has become my most exciting CZcams moment for a long time. Those intro chords are all 10cc I’m not in love and Tom you’re a musical genius
Wait does anyone remember he said he was “borrowing” that 58 from Gruhns?...last MAY!?!? 😏
I've been thinking the same thing lol cool they let him use it that long.
Rocking that bass like a champ! Excellent video and liked the shoals tour. Good stuff sir
Gotta say, i love the sounds you get out of that old LP. So articulate and niiiiiice
Sweet...love the artwork....and the jam track....nicely done......
You know what I like about you Uncle Larry? You sound like you. Regardless of all your musical influences you’ve created your own notch in the music world. You are amazing brother!
Beautiful.
This is called mastery of the craft. This is amazing. Shout out from the fellow Clevelander! 🤘🏻😎
Hey, Tom. After binge watching your episodes over the past few weeks I am now finally up to date! I would like to thank you for inspiring me to pick the guitar up again after 8 long years away from it all. On a side note, I've never heard you mention Rory Gallagher. I'd love to hear your thoughts on him. His live performances on his Irish '74 tour is some of my favourite stuff of his. Anyway, you're a top geezer & Thanks again. From Dom - an Englishman living over in Saigon, Vietnam
You rule man! Thanks for sharing your great insight and experience! Regards Kenneth from Finland
That opening jam was so, so evocative of early 70s R&B, which is a real weakness for me, an old rocker. Loved it! Thanks!
The best stuff ever!
It looks like the weather is nice today up there in your hemisphere of the woods Uncle. Nice here in sunny Brisbane today, too, You the man.
Driving to the gig listening to uncle tommy! Never thought I would see the day.
Thought you were going to go into ‘she’s gone’ at first.. awesome loop, wicked cool getting to see you play bass, got a Jamerson kinda thing going on there
Tom - you are the *worst* thing to happen to my guitar education. Every time I'm about to sit down and work on my 6ths or open chord voicings, you go and post yet another masterpiece that I just *have* to go try and steal ...err... transcribe. Thanks a lot, man.
Every part of that jam was so darn tasteful. Thank you Uncle Larry!
I've had a shitty day until now. But now I've looked into your video, little Tommy, and what can I say? My mood has improved significantly!
Hi Tom, Nice bit of bass. Thanks for taking us all with you to Muscle Shoals - what a privilege. Now that we're back in the garage, I feel even more like I made the trip with you and I'm back at home! Only one more bar to the chorus... 😎
Two things i would say here: (1) really nice bass lines, very musical. (2) Even in this simple looping example, your bass is perfectly balanced with the rhythm guitar track, which is a reflection of your studio knowledge & experience. Well done. Thanks for shring.
Thank you Tom!!!!
Hey Unka Larry, never see you move to the groove so much as when you play the bass. Nice!
I must get to Muscle Shoals someday! Thanks for the tour Uncle Larry.
Dude! I just got the same bass yesterday... I felt the same way when picking it up...1st 5 string since my high school NY days.Wild!
Sounds great and sweet shirt! 🤘
The first part of that loop sounds kinda like the intro of "She's Gone" by Hall and Oates.
I heard the same!
Yeah that's what I was thinking.
Totally!
First thing I heard too.
Yep, definitely Hall and Oates feel.
As always:
Great!
your guitar collection is "almost" as impressive as your playing - love what your doin man
The next shirt design should just say “... not a Gildan”. Great stuff as always!
Caught the little Mott/Robson.
Thanks for all the great videos. I’m gonna need to head to Muscle Shoals for a long weekend soon.
Man your a great player, what a lovely jam!
Ive always heared your name but ive never heard you play, what an inspiration.
All the best from Germany!
Regards
Johnny Ray R.
Very Hall & Oats sounding tune.... love it!!
That chord progression and feel is awesome!
I think that was a Hall & Oates tune..? Very soulful…
I love this!
Can’t think about a better lespaul sound, nothing’s missing in there.Great work and playing Tom
Oh look who’s home and already thinking of us
Such a good rhythm 🎶
Excellent!!! 🔥🔥🔥.
🤘🏼SUBBED🤘🏼
Man I was watching an interview you did on your gear and at one point you said “you gotta goose the gain”. Thats my submission for the next band name contest. Goose the Gain. lovin what you’re doin here
Wow...what in incredible experience producing Ann Wilson vocals...wow!!
Uncle larry you have the best channel on youtube thank you!
The open door garage session is a VIBE! I saw the thumbnail and instantly opened my windows and strummed a few chords along with songs just for fun. At some point I realized I was a much better rhythm man than a lead man, so that's where I stay. It's fun, but I can't wait for more open garage classes!
Just listened to the ' Christmas blanket special' again. I love your wife's voice. It's sublime. It's so country it makes me want to buy a horse!! Please get her back on for the 💯 edition. Anyway I bought a 00018 instead.😂😂🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏😂😂😂
Hey Uncle Larry, off topic, but "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" hit my playlist yesterday, and of the hundred times I have heard it, I guess it did not resonate with me that the good ship and crew, a bone to be chewed, was headed to Cleveland. Amazing.
Lake Gitchygoomy hahaaaa
Hey Tom
ScottJustin here you probably don’t remember me but you and Andy use to come over to my house in Surfside back when we were 13-15 years old. I played drums. I been watching your channel and it is fantastic! Very cool that you are sharing your wealth of knowledge and giving back to so many people. I wanted to send you a message and I just heard that Michael Stanley passed away this morning 72 years old. Anyway you are a great humble man! Keep on keeping on brother.
Groove and pocket! And the FAME t shirt is killer Uncle Larry👍
Burst! You make it sound awesome Tom.
just bad ass groove...that change! that bend on the f when you change! yea dawg!!!
Hi Tom greetings from Ireland you have got us through these weird times would love to have your wife Sarah back for the 100th thanks for all your inspiration
This seems like a good time to say THANK YOU!!
Hey uncle Larry, long time listener, first time commenter. Glad you helped make that music city bridge...now if only you could invent a 3-way toggle that doesn’t inevitably start to come loose and switch the rhythm and treble positions. Seriously love the show, keep it up!
Killer grooves at the beginning!
Answered my questions. Thanks
Your bass line is refreshing it is nice to hear a bass that is not totally compressed
Uncle Larry! You made my day. Great jam. My wife and I watched the Muscle Shoals documentary the other night. Absolutely fantastic. Fits right in with 20 Feet From Stardom and The Wrecking Crew. All great movies hubbies and wives can enjoy together. Also ordered my print the other day. You're signing them right??? -G
Great ideas. Thanks.
Hey Tom! The first time I saw you was during the Tom Petty HB & Joe Walsh tour a few years ago. I didn’t know who you were but I was watching you the whole show - I knew you were a special player. Then I ended up catching one of your guitar picks and it had your name on it. I knew you must be the real deal! Haha
And here I am watching your videos on YT - such a pleasant surprise.
Cheers, Matt
Kind of reminds of movin on and gettin over by John Mayer...cool jam. Your playing really does inspire me
Dearest Uncle Larry, longtime supporter and multiple shirt owner! Thank you for being the best thing guitar related on youtube or anywhere else for that matter. Since you've brought up Robocop so many times and I as well am a massive Paul Verhoeven fan, I decided with my band to make a fully realized rock opera based on Total Recall in every vivid detail. It just came out and I'd love to send you a copy. With respect and humility,
Cold Engines
Wow...email that shit to tombukovac@gmail thanks man
Damm! God knows i enjoy your bass playing! Good old times in the garage
I think that Fame shirt was made for your new bass. The upper horn contour underlines the logo damn near perfectly. The bass was meant to be haha. I feel lucky that I got in on the episode 100 print and the episode 75 print. They will look awesome next to each other. Cannot wait!
fire fire on the mountain.....LOVE IT man!! felt dead at first.../??lol
Cool loop jam! I thought for a moment there you did a funky version of "I'm not in love" of 10CC. Cheers from Norway, Thor 🙂
As a bass player who loves this channel, I could not be happier seeing this!! #Genesis #Prog #70s
Another wonderful Volume Tom/Uncle Larry. 5 string bass story to funny. like when I moved to Franklin, TN and played an E flat 9 chord, person stopped me as said " man that chord is illegal in Nashville" I'm like laughing because coast music uses it. so I thought he was joking. Damn if he wasn't right, that fast I knew country session work wasn't for me. so I did my own thing and never looked back. This is why what you said about the 5 string Bass made me roll on the floor. Enjoyed it and when you do your grooves enjoy improving.
Keep up the Volumes and Cranking the volume,
Chris Nashvillerocker DiMella
The Muscle Shoals t-shirt! Nice! When I saw that bass, the got all excited and thought it might be another Police cover/loop...then I saw the vintage LP and man it got so awesome. You’re pretty groovin’ bass player Uncle Larry. Really groovin...not pretty groovin...really groovin and kick ass. Episode 100 is right around the corner. Looks like it will be rolling in around the 1 year mark from the start coronation of Corona lessons.
That was the coolest thing I've seen you do.
what a fantastic poster made by ziggy!
Brillant ! merci
Lovely tone on that LP on the intro ...Those last few notes just to hear it.
Yo this man just made one of the best songs I’ve ever heard
As a guitar player, that was the peak of playing
They say the best music is created near a river.
I’ve heard that!
@@Guitargate Chesapeake bay
L.A. River!
@@cliftongolden2 Ohio River
The creek formed from all of the melting snow behind my house!
Greetings from down under UL, beautiful stuff 👍🍻
That print is sick and worth every penny. Stay -toasted- warm and toasty. Thanks.
Hey Tom, you ever have days where the mojo just ain't there, you're just not feelin it? Then other days you're on fire and the music is just a flowin ? I think we all have those days. What do you do, being a studio cat I'm sure you've had those "bad days". What do you do to overcome it? Drink a Rollin Rock?! On another note, I've been working on my bass playing the past few days in order to make cool backing tracks. It's much harder than it seems. Thanks for showing us how it's done!
Hey Tom, thanks for volume 96, can't believe it's almost 100! Just so you know, my cat "Hendrix" almost cleared me out when paying your tip jar by jumping on the computer and adding a few digits. I'm sorry that I couldn't be anywhere near as generous as Hendrix but please know I would if I could!
Couldn’t get a print because they’re not available for my area. Bought a Homeskoolin’ hoodie instead! Looking forward to wearing it to promote your channel on my channel. 🤘 cheers!
Love the Argent riff you threw in there!
That’s a damn fine jam Sir..
..slicker than snot of a door knob.
Tom that was a killer grove!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
My goto bass is a Modulus Quantum5, with EMGs. My baby ❤
I keep a P and a J bass handy for those times when nothing else will do; or just for a change of feel.
That 'Pickin' style on bass is something I came to later in life; particularly when I started playing more thin string guitars ...
It offers some different rhythmic options. Great for mixing it up.
Cool shirts Uncle Larry, great Armywear, grabbed one for sure. Take care and stay well.
Much respect...
