No. Just no. Take the lawyer of fulfill that role yourself, but you don‘t get accommodation for that.
That's the ideal situation. The reality however, is that if the court doesn't help them along ,it just clogs up the docket.
He wasn’t being granted extra time. Her schedule is booked up until the Oct. date as cases are usually set for trials at least up to a year in advance. If she didn’t grant his request for a continuance he could use that on appeal to overturn his eventual sentence
