Been thinking about this since its announcement earlier. While outdated, Keeper of dragon magic could have some potential for a new line of play. on summon it can search fusion armament so we wouldn't have to hard draw it. It could also grab Magicalize, red-eyes, ultimate or branded fusion for additional options. Depending on your hand if DM hits the graveyard, you could just magicalize into Dragoon with keeper. Fusion armament can also be treated as a monster reborn for DM by revealing any of the DM fusion monsters.
Worth labbing multiple options, although it would pose the question of whats the better normal summon, rod or keeper (It's probably still rod)

Precisely what I thought, since you can substitute BE Ulti with a fusion substitute monster like the Hex-Sealed Fusions.
Dm isn’t listed on the card mbc an bls isn’t dm 😂😂 you can use a BE to summon mbc and bls

you know you can still run pure blue-eyes with no dark magician support at all with this because both blue-eyes chaos dragon and blue-eyes chaos MAX dragon are both chaos monsters

the card mentions blue eyes ultimate by name so using a substitute (Fusion Parasite/King of the Swamp/goddess with third eye) should be easy eoungh, you just need to run the ritual monster
would still be good in Blue eyes decks. the quickplay fusion shuffles back, and the optimal materials are ANY 3 Blue-eyes monsters and a Chaos MAX. It's def a good option going first rather than a Chaos MAX pass.
Exactly what I was thinking. Then on top of that if your opponent happens to get rid of it you can float into twin burst or chaos max if you summoned it properly
You can also use Fusion Tag to turn any monster into Ultimate for the sake of fusion summoning and fuse that with a Chaos Max. Could be a Shortcut worth looking into.
Can we fusion deployment to summon blazing cartesia, use cartesia effect to fusion summon granguinol, use granguinol effect to send ultimate dragon, use branded fusion to summon lubellion with illusion of chaos and fallen albaz as material, use lubellion effect to summon master of dragon magia by suffle ultimate dragon and illusion of chaos from GY

definitely playable for Blue-Eyes, something to consider is using Muddy Mudragon, use synchron or ringowurm with dictator of D+ Chaos max, easy magia master.
Edit: will need to summon Chaos max or have fusion spell, for this to work.
Magician of black chaos and dark magician chaos are my favorite I just like the design. I wish we would get a retrained version of him
Technically, there is restrain in the Chaos Max version of him, but I get what you mean.

This is better for blue eye instead of DM deck
realistically its probably still too hard to summon to be truly competitive but ngl once its on the field that effect is actually really strong. and the artwork goes hard af

Though I only came up with the combo that quick because you brought up Fusion Armament during the stream, I completely forgot that card existed to be honest.
With that in mind I just plugged in an earlier combo I had for Master of Chaos since it also requires a Chaos ritual and boom.

My brother plays a Branded Blue-Eyes list and already has been testing this card. Praying we DM players can get a consistent way to play this new card cause, it’s just so cool.
Yo, I didn't see those artworks for DM and DMG. Those would be fucking sick for my Dark Burning Magic Turbo build because when you put 'em together it looks like they're doing the attack. I hope there's more news soon for DM stuff

It’s still weird that the 25th anniversary Yugi and Kaiba only got this card? For their two most profitable characters you would think they would load up the new support for them since a lot of the anime’s heroes got new stuff in 2023. I think there will be more coming that’s just my assumption
I'm glad the card effects are good, but I feel without a new fusion spell it's just gonna be anime bait. But dear God I'm hoping I'm wrong on this cause the card is amazing looking!

The bad thing is that even if they would release a broken dm fusion spell, dm would still be the main material, and magia master does not have dm as a material, so it would be useless. For an easier summon, they should release a broken blue eyes fusion spell. What i would want this pack to have is both a dm fusion spell AND a blue eyes one that fuse from the deck or extra deck. Everyone would be happy!

Cool stuff, though I think there are better ways to Summon this actually. For now, you can play the Quem + Cartesia package to Summon Granguignol and dump BEUD, then Souls package to dump IoC. Finish it off with Verte sending Ultimate Fusion.
You can also dump both starting with Nadir Servant but then you would need to find a way to get access to Ultimate or Necro Fusion.
I’m trying to test out different engines such as Blue-Eyes and Bystials to see how this deck might be able to extend.
Edit: I’m sorry I overlooked the fact I’m an MD player and Verte is literally banned from both paper formats.

The Magician of Black Chaos/The Dark Magician of Chaos have been my favorite cards since I was a kid, if feels good seeing them get some attention

this card is super easy to summon if you have a good build for blue-eyes i have 3 decks that could summon this card easily, ones a pure blue-eyes deck that focuses on the fusion cards, ones a branded version of blue-eyes with the bystials in it and that deck makes summoning this card simple since hex-seal fusion can count as the chaos monster, and finally i have a ritual variant that also makes summing this fairly simply though not as easy as the branded one
Could use Secrets to summon this if you have Magician of Chaos on the field. He counts as DM for Secrets and is a Chaos ritual so should be ok. And you could summon him back from GY with Magia's floating effect as well. Probably too convoluted but still doable.
Doesn't work. Already tried. He becomes DM on field/GY and no longer a Chaos monster. Same thing happens when u try to use him for Master of Chaos summons

way easier to bring out than I thought at first, then again I am a casual that is more interested in looking at and reading the new cards than actually playing them and finding optimal combos.

I have been thinking the same, this card is more summonable in dark magician deck, also in the anime it's yugi who used poly to bring Dragon Master Knight, it should also work in blue eyes deck, but in this deck u get all DM glory in one deck
As a HERO player, if you want to tech this in to have access to up to 3 negates in 1 card. You can play A HERO Live to grab Prisma or Stratos to Normal Prisma (If you want to continue into Link 2 HERO). Play Fusion Armaments and Reveal Master Dragon Knight or Master of Dragon Magia to drop a BEUD, then use Prisma to reveal Dragon Master Knight to send BLS. Then, proceed to search Polymerization. I'm not saying this is the most optimal or something that should be main decked, but maybe it is an idea to start thinking so it can be optimized better. I like coming up with possibilities for HERO. Much fun.

Its a super cool card, i love its effect paragraph. DM archetype doesnt need a field spell or fusion support, it just needs a couple good supports.

If that Card doesnt get a: " Must be fusion summoned by the above fusion material"... King of swap kinda effect would be busted
you could play emergency teleports and the 3 PSI-reflector, and 1 Assault Beast and Mode Activate, PSI-Reflector or ET is 1 card Muddy Mudragon, then you use Souls to send a chaos monster spellcaster like illusion, you link the souls into Moon maiden, activate Muddy to fuse into Albion and then use Albion effect to fuse Muddy and the chaos monster in GY to Summon Magia, that a 2 card combo
Albion reads:
"If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can Fusion Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Fusion Monster"
Magia is level 12.

Easiest way is KOTS and Chaos max with like Poly or ultimate fusion or even dragons mirror
I mean. Not all people are interested in having this card. But let's say the opponent is summoning this dragon. We're doomed when he is on the field, we're doomed when he leaves the field (cuz the lingering effect and all that stuff), the only way i can think of to face this 5000 atk monster with negates is taking control of it. I'd say, Full Armor Master will do the job, but we must trigger that dragon's effect first.
I see a magician of black chaos max combo with this. Possibly chaos scepter blast plays
Since BEUD is named on the card, you can just use BKS in its place.

As a Blue-Eyes player, im in heaven. Fusion Armament play lets you summon out Ultimate Dragon OG fusion for free (OG Dragon Master Knight allowed it but wasnt good enough to warrant space), which allows a Blue-Eyes Shining play (Next retrain we need). Chaos Max is useless in grave so being able to not only send it to the Deck to summon this but being able to then float into it from Deck after is beautiful. A negate(up to three) is magnificent as well as as Blue-Eyes lacks negates. Spirit can negate GY but its our main monster negate excluding the trap. Also being able to use any three Blue-Eyes monsters means I can recycle a Spirit Dragon back to Extra Deck from grave after having used its float effect. This isnt a meta card by any means (Somehow a worse verion of Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon despite harder to summon) but it is what I mainly want from the game as a more casual long term player, a cool fun card that isnt useless

Tyrant dragon must be fusion summoned or special summoned by a specific condition as described in the card. However, you can special summon blue-eyes alternative ultimate dragon.

Let Blue Eyes have their cool cheesy anime boss monster. We've had Dragoon for years. If anything, I'm saddened for them cause they got something REALLY fucking cool, but it's gonna be challenging and resource intensive for them to summon.

ONce I saw this card I was also thinking that fusion Armament as a way to cheese this card out. I'd run two Blue-Eyes ultimate dragons, one for the target of Fusion Armament and the other to SS out once Master of Dragon Magia goes away.
My deck also already runs Thrust so everything is searchable and I could play the one of Fusion Armament.

I'm thinking this is more natural on the BEWD side, it's 3 monsters and chaos max. Ultimate fusion would return everything to the deck and nuke the field.
I saw the card and Armament and Timaeus was the same combo i inwtantly thought of. DM needs a fusion spell that lets it fusion using DM or at least one monster that has DM in its effect

Unfortunately, you can't revive a blue eyes chaos max even if summoned properly.
DoDo has got to be losing his mind right now XD. Also, this fusion COULD be brought out with secrets, you just need to use Magician of Chaos and bring him out proper first! Would make that second effect of the fusion relevant.
Nah doesnt work. Magician of Chaos isn't DM in hand, and while on field/gy is DM but loses its chaos name.

With a chaos monster as requirement, you may be able to play this in pure blue eyes
Chaos max or regular chaos dragon, both are searchable by melody and abyss dragon.
I am so hyped for the new fusion, but god I WISH they would change the color schemes for Dark Magician, and Dark magician girl from time to time when new card art comes out, it would make it so much cooler, because they over use the current color scheme too often imo, where it's like green skinned and an off purply blue color with red trim, hell bring back the red dark magician color schemes for both magicians for fun even, but I digress, they still look great, color scheme aside.

But it became obvious we were getting this when it became clear we were getting cards connected to end of series duels and it was too early for Lil Yugi (Sarc of Light not released) and Tricky God.dek is not yet a thing. Chaos Ultimate Dragon was the only thing it could have been
