You go girl! I’m rooting for you. My story is kind of the same, I studied law because my family wanted me to have a degree in something that would guarantee me a job. But I always enjoyed creating art, I’ve now decided to pursue it and I’ve gotten much happier going after my dream.

It really is therapeutic, but not depending upon how much talent you have, it's the attitude you have while making art
it's indeed therapeutic. i used to only do oil painting on landscapes but started to do fanarts with watercolour this year. i've always told myself that i can't draw living things but lately, all i've been drawing was fanarts of my fav idols ^^ still need a lot of improvement but it's seriously fun to see how much i've progressed from being a noob in watercolour and drawing people to something more decent in less than a year. keep practicing and enjoy the process ^^

Norela Turcios well clip studio paint is clearly only available on the samsung store so of course she has to use it. That’s not to say she doesn’t have an iphone lying around or that samsung is actually better

Literally as I was just getting back into drawing again, your really inspired me! Looking back at all my old anime/manga drawings really brings tears to my eyes because I used to be so invested but now I don’t even touch them anymore. I always fell like lacking some sort of creativity in my life so I started making handmade earrings inspired by art, paintings, colors, textures and nature. I build my own small shop and sell the pieces now. The process of creating just brings me so so much joy besides studying ❤

I'm currently pursuing law right now but as a kid I am such a drawer, I love arts and everything art competition, I'll count myself in and even won a few of them. I just love art so much I really thought I could create something out of this, so we went for an art class that made me learn more about technique and such.

This is the most inspirational thing I've seen/heard in a while about art.
I've hardly drawn in 3 years, but I used to draw ALL THE TIME and was constantly improving. I miss it. I don't know where that energy for art went, but now I'm thinking maybe it's like the human body; when you don't continually make effort to exercise, you lose more energy and it gets harder to exercise the less often you do it. HOWEVER, you can regain that energy and motivation if you start back up and keep at it despite the challenges.
So maybe that's how it is with my artistic energy? I need to try to not let myself get so discouraged and keep trying despite how challenging it can be. 💜 Thank you for this reminder.
