- This video is a tutorial on how to make Ewa Agoyin sauce or stew using ingredients like dried bell peppers, cayenne pepper, onions, ginger, seasoning cube, salt, crayfish, and red oil. The process involves blending the peppers, frying onions, and gradually cooking the sauce until it is dry and ready to be served with beans.
0:00 🌶️ In this video, I will be showing you how to prepare my own Ewa Agoyin Sauce or stew using traditional African ingredients.
0:25 🌶️ These are the ingredients we will be using: dried bell pepper (tatashe), bell pepper, cayenne pepper, onions, ginger, seasoning cube, salt, crayfish, and red oil.
1:05 🌶️ I will start by soaking the dried bell pepper and cayenne pepper in hot water.
1:30 🌶️ Next, I will blend the soaked peppers with ginger, using the same water to avoid using too much liquid.
2:10 🌶️ After blending, I will add seasoning cube, salt, and crayfish to the mixture.
2:30 🌶️ Now it's time to cook the sauce. I will gradually stir it to prevent burning and let it dry on low heat.
3:20 🌶️ The sauce is ready! I will take it off the heat and fry some onions separately.
4:00 🌶️ Finally, the Ewa Agoyin sauce is complete and ready to be served with beans. Enjoy!

Can we use the fresh pepper? ie both cayenne and bell pepper fresh?
no please...if you have fresh bell watch this czcams.com/video/CB4AM1u0hoQ/video.html
Well done this good. But why did you removed the seeds which is in a plate?
too much seeds equals to how hot the pepper will be, you can add all if you like hot pepper👍❤️
Please if you want to prepare it in large quantity for sale, is it still d same procedure and will I get this dried ingredients like this in the market? I just subscribed.
yes same procedure but larger quantity...regarding dried ingredient, yes, you can get it in the local market...most especially the red oil, if you don't get a good red oil, just forget about the soup🔥🔥🔥
Welldone Ma
Did you removed the onions that you first poured into the oil?
is here 13:00 it was fried along until the second onions was introduced
Thank you Ma
you are welcome👍👍
Can I use fresh peppers instead?

What do you use this sauce to eat?
here is the video of how it was eaten czcams.com/video/zQKbJa7_Iwg/video.html
Sorry may I ask are u selling them?
no please...just making it for the family 😀😀
How do I prepare Dey Ofada and Ayamase sauce that will last for a year?
please watch out
Is the bell pepper seed not bitter? Why include it?
on the contrary pepper is very sweet👍😀
I have watched you several times, but I am realizing today you are a Nigerian. I never knew. In Ghana it's same way we prepare black pepper also known as Shitor. But we use vegetable oil instead of palm oil. So what do u guys use to eat this sauce? U did not say. Thx for your time and everything.
czcams.com/video/zQKbJa7_Iwg/video.html...here is the video of the eating...the food is called ewa agoyin, its may look like shito but the taste are totally different here is the link of our shito czcams.com/video/MicnxWVPkSs/video.html
The sauce is eaten with honey beans and it’s quite deliciouso. It goes with a combination of either agege bread or plantain.
This is shito in Ghana but we add tomato puree and fish powder
this is not shito, as a Ghanaian, you add tomatoes paste, ginger, garlic, groundnut oil, blended dry fish but this is ewa agoyin sauce which doesn't add up like shito but instead uses red oil and bell pepper, if you manage to taste both sauces you will know they are totally different 🤣🤣🤣 here is the link to shito czcams.com/video/MicnxWVPkSs/video.html
Are people still adding tomatoe paste to shito? The original recipe contains no such ingredient, tastes better and has longer shelf life
This woman no fear pepper 😂
But dam that looks delicious ❤❤❤
thank you😋
It looks yummy 😋
thanks 👍❤️✌️😀
Where is the Ginger
check at 11:53 you will see the ginger
I don't think that putting off your blender and turning it on immediately is proper, give it 10 seconds rest before turning on. The sauce looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
This’s good agege bread in Lagos
