It's a very delicious traditional meal ❤🥰
Love this combination so much. I'm from south Eastern part of Nigeria but I love the soup. When you mix all together ,some call it abula.I was born and raised in the south Western part.

blenders and choppers has made life easy. I blend the gbegiri after cooking it. I blend the ewedu, too, but not too much. just pulse it 2twice.
Interesting to know how to ewedu with gbegiri. I’ve never tasted it but hope to do that sometimes. Good job Danica!

Waoooo I would love to test this Ewedu,Amara.. Am new here, together we can achieve
Nice content sis. Back in the days my best soup used to be ewedu soup. The way my late mum used to prepare it is quite different. We add ewedu leaf together with ogbono. We don't use broom, we chop the leaf into small pieces with knife and add it to ogbono soup. It is very delicious and goes well with fufu.
Wowww, that's another interesting way to make ewedu, I didn't know it could be made with ogbono
@@Danicakosy yes. try it and you will enjoy it.

Bicarbonate of soda is very good for softening ewedu or beans.

What does she add to ewedu that makes it slimy... Most doesn't slim at all

Even there are bananas Amala too and it is good for people with diabetes because it has no sugar
Really? I didn't know ❤
Banana is high in both carbs and sugar
@@imao6928 yes, you are very right when it turns ripped.
I love ewedu soup so much, but I have not tasted gbegiri before, I don't like how it looks 😂😂😂
The look is something else but it tastes good with the Ewedu 😄🤣
I really miss childhood 😭
Honestly 😄
Pls wats bi carbonate
The putting of soup inside the swallow is what always discourages me. One day I'll try ewedu out 😋
As in eeh, try it out dear 😘
But you can tell them to put your own on separate plates.
@@truthmatterbyoladada1462 on a very good day 🤗
I had the same thought about that broom until I stayed in Oyo state 😂 Never knew they use beans as well. I will try it out someday.
I also didn't know they use beans until that day 😄
That broom is also one of the reasons I haven't tasted amala and ewedu. Then I have a neighbor during service that will always take spoiled yam I cut to throw away to dry for amala. So I always remember and it makes me just go for the regular soups and swallow that I am used to
Spoiled yam? Na wa ooo 😄
The broom is really a thing for a lot of people 🤣
The broom is called IJABE. it's not used for any other things, other than to break ewedu till smooth.
The broom is just one of the kitchen apparatus , it's only meant for the kitchen , also about the spoilt yam , it may that she is very poor or you misunderstood her, she might see that you peel a lot yam with the skin , and she sees it as wastage , some people are very extreme when it's come to wastage , thereby collecting it and putting it into use .No one can use spoilt yam for amala , it will spoil the taste of the finish product..
My native soup
I enjoyed eating it 🥰
Please do where they are selling Oha soup 😀
I will hun 🥰
Baking soda...

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3:16 If you are yet be saved please make this confession. Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father. I confess and repent of my sins. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. I give myself to you in Jesus name. Amen Welcome into the family of God.
Only four pieces of meat??
I really love this food...I prepare it but gbegiri I have never tasted...just don't like the sight
I'm a yoruba woman and i still can't eat this. The concept of beans, stew, ewedu , amala all in one is a NO for me. Thank you for sharing
Abi oo 🤣🤣🤣
Please o, is this ewedu Ahihiara leave
Yes
I don't like this ewedu because of the broom they use ooo.... I can't eat it....but it looks nice sha
Lol..that broom is really a thing for a lot of people
There's special broom for Ewedu now! Every culture is unique. You find it difficult because it is not part of your culture that you are brought up with. It happens.....
