I went to the Tori no Ichi festival at Hanazono Shrine, too! I even bought a small kumade. Thanks for the memories!

That looked delicious! Good on you for cooking all that lovely stuff, hubby & I often go out to eat or just to Seiyu or even Famima and buy some bentos and banchans and call it a day lol
...or order Pizza-La, if we don't feel like going out at all 🤣

It is nice to have a Seiyu so close to home. I don't have one in my neighborhood.

@@Oliver61pts We take the metro/subway to Seiyu lol. Well it's a few km so sometimes we walk there if the weather is nice and then take the metro back with the stuff.

Another terrific vlog! What was the person carrying at 11:28, the Rakes?what does each item symbolize? Maybe you can tell us what the shrines are for, for those of us who have never been to Japan. Great video! Thank you for sharing

Thanks. That is a big rake. There is a wide variety, with coins and rice representing wealth, the face of a god representing good luck, or a bill to keep fire and misfortune away.

    素敵なお部屋ですね!
    僕も観葉植物が好きなのですが、ミルクブッシュも育てておられるんですね。
    他の観葉植物も紹介して欲しいです。

I love the fact you take time and make the effort to cook for 1. It would be so easy not to bother.
Another great video, the festival looked amazing

been watching your videos for a while now and I love watching every single one! super relaxing and comforting, and I was also really inspired/encouraged by the meaning behind your username ("61 pts") :) I'll continue watching your videos and I hope you'll stay happy and amazing!

So Oishi and relaxing. Love lotus root. 🤙🏼💚🏵️. 61 of 100 is better than half. 😉😁. Thanks for trying new things. In the US they call it Napa cabbage and 🥬 bok choy is Chinese cabbage. So many names for a vegetable 🥴😅

Hey ! I really enjoy your videos ! It’s pretty uncommon to find that kind of quality content made by a man. But I’m curious, what kind of test gave you a 61 out of a 100 ?

Thank you! 61 points is a metaphor for not having to aim for perfection to be okay.
