This month's 30-day challenge was to replace all of my music with audiobooks. I've been obsessed with getting back to reading on a regular basis. Anyone who does read, they will tell you that the thoughts you get while you consume a good book are just mindblowing.
But like everyone, I'm busy with life and the thought of sitting down to read a book sounds crazy to me. That's why replacing my music consumption with audiobooks made sense to me. This would give me zero excuses and force me to start building this habit of consuming more books.
The best part of listening to audiobooks is being able to consume a book while I'm in the car, or at the gym, or waiting in line. Literally, anywhere, I can turn on my audibook app and start learning!
Enjoy!

Lol this video isn’t sponsored by audible. 😂😅
Curiosity Culture LOL it should be!!
I know right! Lol
Audio books are awesome! I was in a similar position where I always listened to music in the car. Now I've switched to audiobooks and podcasts. Not only do I feel like I'm learning everyday, its making me feel better too!
Yeah it’s honestly amazing how good you feel when you listen to less music and more audiobooks! Haha still love my music, but everything in moderation
Praying you are well. 🙏💕
I just found your content and I’m so glad I did! I’m kind of... chronically curious, so this content is right up my alley! This was really well done and polished. Kudos!!
Hey! I’m so glad this vibes with you! Welcome to the curiosity squad! :)
Always inspiring to watch your videos!!!
Beautiful vibes you put into it!!
I love your content thanks buddy!!
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words! You know it, always trying to put good stuff out into the universe
@@CuriosityCulture Can you please share link to download the app.
Or suggest good books to listen.
Yeah for sure, I use audible, and I loved reading shoe dog by Phil Knight, the story of Nike!
@@CuriosityCulture Thank you so much!! 😊
I recently found your channel and I’ve been enjoying your content! 😍
Why thank you! So happy you like the content! Welcome to the family :)
Good idea, I'm going to try this at the gym, but definitely not the car! I'm a professional wrong-turn-taker! 😂 when I'm distracted, I usually end up driving towards work or home even tho I wasn't going there! 😂
Haha professional wrong turn taker, that’s funny 😂
@@CuriosityCulture update: I tried audible! While trying to decide which one to download, i didn't like the samples *at all* and thought I'd hate the thing! Then I decided to start with something I'm familiar with, so I downloaded some lectures. I absolutely loved the thing!!! Thanks again for suggesting audiobooks!
I like your videos 👌👌
Thanks! That means a lot :)
Won't lie this is how I spent my time probably for about 5 years. I "read" about 2,000 book split between audiobooks and ebooks. I literally always had a phablet/Samsung note phone in order to do this.
Wait.. that’s so freaking inspiring! Well done
Christopher Marroquin 2,000 books is insane, did you notice any benefits about yourself after those 5 years?
@@dave3k I am currently completing my second masters in political science with a focus on statistical analysis. "Education wise". Overall, the biggest benefit, and the one i value the most, it that it has allowed me to be more excepting of alternate views. I am someone that is very accepting of every views and I attribute that to how many books I have read. Overall, books are not just a gateway to understanding subjects, but understanding people. Something i find more invaluable.
@@christophermarroquin2496 So what you're saying is basically, republicans don't read much...
Only joking. I actually attribute my open-mindedness and critical thinking to watching probably 1000 movies between my teens and early 20's. Being exposed to different cultures and points of view is a game-changer!
@@dave3k pretty much. Western media is only the pinnacle. I have made it a point to study non western ideas during my time in school.
Wow. Youre like me. I have awesome books I havent read yet. I just cant sit still and read a book. Ive also decided to go audio. I will never hear/ read these books if I dont.
Yes!! I can't believe how enjoyable they are and how quickly you can get through a book!
I listen faster than I read. I can finish a book every ~3-4 days. I recommend incrementing the speed. The only downside is that I perceive conversations to go slow.
oh that's an interesting side effect! At least you're consuming a ton of books each month
انت عظيم يا غالي
I have to translate this when I get home haha
Those were the only books i read in highschool 😂
Lmao struggles are real man!
Good one bro.. I suggest u to concentrate on your facial expressions on Thumbnail..
haha, you're probably right ;)
Listening to books rather than reading is the way to go. At least that's what I think of course.
100 percent! I love it so much!
Working out while listening to books about food... guess who’s trying that one out?? 😂😬
Try it!! It’s pretty relaxing
Boiiiii why?
hahah why not!
This is me but with CZcams watch later list 😂😂😂
So many videos to watch but I'm just too lazy to watch them.
I don't like reading btw. That's why I have no books at all.
haha the struggle is all to real with watching youtube videos haha
The Great Gatsby was the most boring book I've ever had to read in school. I didn't understand it one bit!
With that being said I fell out of love of reading books once I learned how to use a smart phone.....CZcams kind of ruined it for me a bit tbh (Not you Harsh you're awesome)
But yes audible books have changed my life...I don't work out to them but I do go to bed listening to them instead of music sometimes
I actually enjoyed the idea of The Great Gatsby after I left school, but in the moment, I didn't really enjoy it. But yes, audiobooks are gamechanger!
