LVL = Liquid Level Switch
What is the function of liquid level switch in the evaporator.

The LLS is used to prevent malfunctions, such as getting liquid from the purge point instead of gas. So, we can use the LLS as protection. As liquid gets inside, a sensor will send an alarm to the controller, and the unit will stop until the liquid is drained. The main idea is protection against draining pure liquid ammonia. For example, if the outlet from the condenser is closed, but the purge point is still open, the full capacity of the condenser will go to IPS. The LLS will notice this and stop the unit.
