This song was in remembrance of the Fall of East Pakistan when Bangladesh became a new nation and the rise of Dhaka. This song was reminder to the current Pakistan how they lost their beloved East Pakistan, their narrative is that they lost a part of their heart. Well all I can say is they should blame their bloody government and army for their genocide and oppression of the people in Bangladesh, but Allah (swt) granted our nation freedom.. Ameen

This was written by Naseer Turabi in the backdrop of 1971 separation of east Pakistan. It was an immense pain for the people of Pakistan but the establishment committed grave mistakes and injustices and indian interference lead to the separation but people still love each other.
