What a beautiful song. That's how he's different from everyone else - he plays with such emotion and uses that to create a great song.
AT is a master guitarist. The emotion of his compositions is both inspiring and mind- blowing!
I'm blown away by the young guitarists on Instagram and TikTok whose speed is ridiculous, but I think there's a case to be made that Andy has not only the best tone, feel, touch and phrasing, but also the most soul of any guitarist on Earth today.

I only got into Andy because of his Guitar World lessons, yet he has been around since the 80s. You can only pay attention to only so much but I missed this guy somehow yet regret it so much. His playing is toneful, tuneful, melodic ,fluid and unmatched unless by Jeff Beck.
Whole song is delicious but 2:38 is so intense and 4:09 is magical.

He will be in Lubbock, TX, this Saturday October 8th, at the Buddy Holly Hall, and I can’t wait to see him perform live. My son shared his music with me when he was in high school and I’ve loved listening to his amazing guitar talent ever since. He is magical with guitars.

Guitar is maybe the most versatile instrument when you think about it.
The amount of sounds and styles you can get out of it. Of course you can have endless sounds on a keyboard, but you can manipulate guitar strings physically in so many ways. Bends, taps, slides, whammy bar, harmonics, pick, fingers, palm-mutes, hammer-ons, pre-bends, legato etc.
Never get wrong going for a Andy’s solo

40yrs of playing guitar - and I've only just come across Andy. I know!! I'd heard of him - and then I saw him on That Pedal Show - the one where he makes Dan cry. Ever since, I've been listening to little but Andy, and catching up on podcast interviews etc. My guitar education has gone into a new and very welcome phase 😀

Mr Timmons is one of those rare guitar players who can seemingly do it all. Everything that he plays is so tasteful, fluid, and pure. I put him in the same “God tier” (forgive the popular expression) as Guthrie Govan, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Paul Gilbert, Allan Holdsworth and others of that ilk. This is beautiful playing.
