I have a 2015 Corolla Le. I didn't get one for power could care less about power. I got it for the gas milage. 40 miles per gallon is great if it is 40. I like it for the cruise control and the air conditioning. I had a 96 Ford ranger 2.3 liter engine in it. The xlt one. I do miss the truck but not much. It didn't have air conditioning and the passenger seat belt didn't work as it use to. The passenger door wouldn't unlock during winter time.
If your thinking about buying an xrs in terms of driving a fun zippy car, spot on! If you want to go out racing some homeslice driving a high performance whatever, then keep lookin. I love mine.
both the shiftknob and the complete shifter assembly is aftermarket. shiftknob is from trd and shifter is from twmperformance including base and cable aluminium bushings that make the shifts short and crisp.
@tapanpatel88 i think the 1.8L has enough passing power, if you want to upgrade i'd suggest upgrading to another vehicle altogether, otherwise you would be just wasting money since you already have a corolla. I suggest you go test drive an XRS, that should give u a good idea if its worth upgrading to it or not. yes, in terms of torque the XRS has more than enough for daily driving.
You all prolly dont care at all but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Pedro Tucker thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I agree only on the grounds I'm looking for something that is a little fun and has amazing economy. If you wanted all out performance then go Si But you'll pay more.i. But I love and respect them both. They're both great cars, just depends what you want. I loved the way the ride and road noise was improved so much on the Corolla.. SI Civic requires premium fuel I think. Both are awesome cars, but the Toyota S I just bought has a smoother ride and gets better gas millage imo.
i am 5'8. besides the shifter i only have trd front and rear sway bars, everything else is only cosmetic, like the carbonfibre interior trim, toyota sport pedals, trd CF shifter
I want to buy the same car but in the states of Saudi Arabia can not buy a car less than 2010 model And also the steering wheel on the left, how much the price of the car that you have
Hola carnal.Mira yo tengo el mismo carro y me encanta Como se le Ben Las estampas q tienes Como de fibra de carbon. Donde Las conseguiste si pudieras pasarme el dato digo Las q estan en el x la palanca
People just started talking about the XRS with me and I had no idea what the hell they we're talking about. Corolla's are economy cars (besides the AE86)...not performance. If you buy one of these thinking you're fast, you're sadly mistaken.

You made a really good choice with the XRS Corolla. That is one high quality car, and relatively quick too.
u wanna maybe pump that clutch some more when reversing. derp
Keep uploading these corolla XRS videos! In Finland there is only 1.4 or 1.6l engines available to corollas =( that sucks!
i am 5'8. besides the shifter i only have trd front and rear sway bars, everything else is only cosmetic, like the carbonfibre interior trim, toyota sport pedals, trd CF shifter
That's it driver!
Manual transmission with XRS please!
I want to buy the same car but in the states of Saudi Arabia

sos un master. muy buen video te felicito...
Nice. Im deciding between an s, xrs, or scion xd. what kind of gas mileage do u get with that?
Bit late to respond but I get around 9L/100km
How many Kms to a tank full of gas do you achieve?..........mine is aprox 530 Kms on a 5speed
You still got this car I'm looking at one this week end any cons or things to look out for ?
yes, its custom carbonfibre trim
Is just the shift knob aftermarket or the actual shifter? The shifts look much shorter and crisper then I expected.
hey do you have a short shift in that? looks shorter than my cars. i have a 2010 xrs....
Pat Mitchell Yeah, it's a short shifter. I thunk it might be a TRD one.
Where did you get the custom carbon firbe trim and how much did it run you>?
nice shift knob
good camera
is that a carbon fiber all around radio and shifter?
1:30 what car was the one that passed right in front of you?
highway 6.7L/100kms, city 7.6 - 8L/100kms
whered u get all the trd stuff

@tapanpatel88 Get a Camry 2.5 or 3.5 v6!!
@ag690 wow... where did u get that?.. i wouldn't mind getting that!
I thought we were going to the store :(
Who was just looking at the shifter the whole time?
Is that a short throw shifter?
Do you still have your xrs?
Steven Sousa not anymore, got rid of it many years ago.
1. how tall r u?
2. do u have any mods besides shifter

Honestly (in my opinion) I dont get why anyone buys a Corolla anymore. I mean, the camry gets similar gas milage and it was faster. But thats just me.
Zach Davis how has it took 7 years to call you a dumbass corolla is the number one sellimg car in the world
@manikaran007 LOL! go right ahead and knock yourself out bro.
como quitar soonroof corolla 2009
U look a lot like a dude named Reggie from st. dominic?

sorry man I've got to ask; your willing to drive a manual why settle on a corolla, there are so many other, better cars you could of bought.
