Sir,Kabhi kabhi Lod se jyada m/c jyada hoti hai aisa q?
Moisture content in the product depends on
1)Raw material 2) Environment 3) Product property whether it is hygroscopic or not
This may be the probable reason for high moisture content

It depends on product whether it contains only water or any other content as solvent. Some industry need to know only moisture content as their raw material or product might have contain other solvent in traces amount .In food and chemical industry,the term moisture is generally used .If you dry your sample in hot air oven, it is not only loosing water it will also lose other content (if sample contains other solvent also)
But
In pharma industry the complete Loss is determined hence they Determines LOD and the water content is determined by Karl Fischer instrument.
