about the wolverine boat: The Wagemaker Company began building Wolverine boats in 1932. Those early cedar strip boats were first nationally advertised in 1933 and gained instant popularity. At some point during world war II, they sold the technology to the US Government for use in PT boat hulls from 1942 thru 1945.
I worked on MANY of these ROWPU while in the army. You should be able to see if you are missing anything by looking through the TM manual. You may want to do a full layout. The wiring schematics on that thing are crazy. You will definitely need a pro to troubleshoot any electrical issues you come across. They are easy to operate though. The military breaks it down Barney style in crayon in the TM and most army equipment has instructions right on the equipment.
BTW the army MOS that operated and repaired these was a 63J or 91J now. The official title is QUARTERMASTER AND CHEMICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRER. Best of luck. Get plenty of filters as backup. Any questions just ask your local grease monkey down in the mopo most of em would “love” to do another quarterly/semi annual/annual PMCS. Tell em you need help with a -10 level pmcs and then you need a -20/-30 level pmcs. They will help you with the -20/-30 but the -10 pmcs is on you….(PMCS = PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS and SERVICES. Found in the field Manuel.)
You are the person he needs to spend 1-2 weeks looking at it or repairing it to figure out what to do next with it.
I was a 63J. It was my second MOS. Once setup it runs easily.
Most Manuels can be found online now but if you can’t find one check down at your local army surplus or military base. They shouldn’t be classified and should be available for public release seeing as how you have the unit already lol.
@@kingair350 nice what was your first mos?
That Sany is an absolute beast. It tossed that cat loader around like a Tonka truck lol. One of your best purchases.
Don’t buy one at a auction sandy voids all warranties. But they are good machines.

What a happy little dog. I just love dogs. She's so cute, like a little round sausage with 4 shot legs, a tail, long ears and a happy dog face. åhh!
Alan is gonna need one of those Reverse Osmosis machines for his Fortress 👀
Not unless he has a very deep well to pump from. The machine cleans water, it doesn't create it.

You can’t drink RO water or store it in plastic. He could use it if he’s making hash or watering plants tho 🤷🏻♂️🫡
Hey guys. I got a little tip for you on the placements of those straps. When the corners are like on this load, you give the connecting end of the strap a half turn before you hook it up. This prevents flapping in the breeze and wearing out the corners up top and breaking the strap. Hope this help. from an old truck driver. :)
That giant water purifier would be great for helping out with disaster relief.
Not till you realize the amount of work involved for just running that said unit. One of the sites I worked in AF had three of those units just to make water useable not drinkable. When the base well went dry they had to pull from the river. It took 12 people to run those units 24/7 and between the generators acting the fool, the filtration unit and chemicals were a nightmare. In all honesty having a modern RO unit is more economical and cheaper to run even off of generation power.
@@fredericksweetliterally what I was about to say basically anything in the military that isn’t directly used to kill people like fighter jets, choppers, and certain weapon systems is generally an utter piece of shit or if it’s not the cost to run and maintain is way too high unless you’re the military with almost unlimited access to fuel and materials the logistics it takes to keep all this garbage equipment running is ridiculous the civilian side shit is almost always better cause they generally make things that work with low maintenance the military literally thinks opposite they cut corners, use the lowest bidder, and ensure shit is easy to repair cause they know, expect and probably plan on the shit breaking learned this from my time in the army I get out in October thank fuck
@@texasthib2029 congrats on doing your time. And yea as a contractor I know all the cost cutting. I use to have to always replace compressors on the FDACUs all the time due to the damn crescent moon shaped evap coil (natural oil catch.) I don't know how long you were in for but, I spent almost a decade working in that hell hole.
He had some other stuff though like those water tanks and some other things that could help. I told Roman Sharf, the other CZcamsr watch guy, about this stuff because he has a charity that helps Ukraine, hurricane Idalia victims and now Hawaii. I figured he could work out a deal to maybe get some supplies or equipment they had like the generator sets maybe and ship them over. But now seeing this, maybe it's better they didn't do that. Plus, they are all about helping out the kids and not really doing community relief. I also don't know if it's just a scam. Some people have said that Roman only does things that make him look good and doesn't follow through on what he says he will. I don't know the guy, but I know Dave had the stuff and figured they could get in touch and work something out but I doubt he took my suggestion seriously. Maybe that's for the better.
@@texasthib2029thank you for your service. Good to see you get out with this 🤡 admin

Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe.
Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely...
It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a professional planner and fixed-income strategist in NY. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won't simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.
I couldn't agree more. Taking charge of your life and putting in the hard work is the path to success. Having a portfolio manager like Mr. Samuel Peter Descovich is a game-changer. Their expertise and guidance can truly transform your financial journey. Making $35,000 in profits each month and saving 70% of that is quite impressive! They save you time and provide valuable insights that lead to impressive profits. Keep up the amazing work, and enjoy the fruits of your labor..
I've shuffled through a few experts in the past, but settled with SAMUEL PETER DESCOVICH. The strategy he use is recession-proof, more specifically profit-oriented , and most likely, you'd find his basic info on the net, he's a renowned advisor.
Found his website easily. It was like the first thing that came up when I searched his name. I'll surely touch basis with him to see what the best step is for me to take right now. THANK YOU!!!
It’s unfortunate most people don’t have such information, I don’t really blame people who panic cos lack of information can be a big hurdle. I’ve been making more than $65k passively investing with Samuel Peter Descovich, and I don’t have to do much work. It doesn’t matter if the market is crashing, I will always make good profit returns.
Never got bored with these videos...I love seeing all the wild and weird stuff you guys come across!
I'd love to see an update on that water filtration system. With your expert coming in and evaluating/working on it. I've drank much water filtered by one of those. Also back in the early 90's when hurricane Katrina destroyed Homestead Florida, we (Army 12th Transportation Ft. Lenardwood, MO. WORKHORSE!!!!) Hauled one of those, a couple trailer generators and spools of wire in support of the recovery effort down there. Hope to see an update, those are amazing.
That water filter system is just what otter creek in Florida needs call the mayor they have a big problem with there drinking water
See if the Hales will help. lol

the desal plant depending on operational pressure, if it operates at or between 800 to 900 psi then its for turning seawater into drinking water, they have a low pressure unit that's for brackish or bog water with a UV filter for purification

We use a similar system to that ROWPU in the offshore oil industry. Im a production mechanic and maintain ours onboard. Can confirm, they are made to essentially turn ocean water into usable "potable" water. Its not drinking water, but it's shower and even cooking water for sure!

When I was a kid we would have a hole cut towards the end of the fork so we could bolt a trailer ball in it and pull those trailers out a lot easier. just a tip if you don’t care about cutting a hole through your fork 🤷♂️😂😂
Your friend "@Ghost Town Living" could really use that old CAT loader, since his road keeps washing out. I suggested he use a method, to retain more of his road base, that consists of using old tires bolted together and then filled with substrate. Maybe you could give him all your unwanted tires? It's about the cheapest way to help shore up his road. In addition, those CAT loaders can have a plow put on the front quite easily, for winter snow clearing.
Very interesting series. Amazing how yall can tackle such big projects. Good luck with the water filter, that thing looks complex.
I've seen a restaurant turn an old telephone booth into a smoker. It was pretty cool.
Your supposed to run the water hose for awhile on the scrap pile just b4 you bring it in.... get it good and drenched 🤑🤑
I installed a Spectra Reverse Osmosis watermaker on my sailboat about ten years ago. Yes, it was able to purify ocean water into drinkable water. That system was right around $6k but there are dozens of other companies out there like CruiseRO and Rainman that make RO water filtration systems for yachts.
The key to RO is the membrane. That RO system that HDS bought is similar to what you'd see on tiny atolls in the S. Pacific, Indian Ocean or even the Bahamas. My biggest concern with this one is weather or not the membranes were properly pickled prior to putting the unit in storage. If not, the membranes could be damaged and/or unusable. That's were I'd start, confirming the membranes have been preserved. It's not the end of the world since they can be replaced.
"That system was right around $6k"
So was this one when it sold as surplus in '17
We had a heeler that would chase sticks like that all day long as well.... and was smart enough to find it when you through it over fences, sheds, under things, whatever. Wore you out just to watch her, and more when you were throwing.

On that water purifier. It should have a NSN that you can look up. Possibly find a manual. Also it has DRMO (Defense Reutilization Marketing Office) on the front. Meaning it was sold bc it was not working or had no more use.
i hauled one from a company in Colorado Springs to a power plant in Wyoming. Their filter system in the power plant was down, and they needed to have 100% pure h20 being made into steam for the turbines to make power. Yeah i am sure it could desalinate sea water, but i would think the filters would have to be replaced often during the process.

Hans seems to be more and more comfortable as semi truck driver.
It takes some getting used to but he's catching on. Sadly having a CDL isn't as useful as it used to be. Specialty loads and hazmat are where the money is, and it's nothing close to what it used to be. The new guys can make it work but all the old timers say get out of trucking and don't haul hazmat. I agree, but I also just applied to haul propane, since it's the only position I can find that pays more than $30 an hour.

I was a 63j/ 91J and maintained the reverse osmosis water purification machine. The filters are gross regardless but it is easily maintained. It can filter water that has been contaminated by NBC or even ocean water. Regardless of the operation of it the filters need to be changed with its scheduled maintenance

You're spot on about that trailer. Reverse osmosis is the process boats use for their 'water makers' which is a *very* scaled down principle of that trailer.
