Thank you. I had subscribed to another channel but your video was so much easier to understand. I am children's book author who is self-learning Midjourney and videos help me a lot. I have already self-published 2 books and a third on the way, with images I have created with Midjourney and they are my most popular books.
Amazing! I'm glad you liked the video. It's a fantastic tool for helping create children's book illustrations. We do have other videos on our channel that are similar to this one, so feel free to check them out as well, as you may find something useful in them. Thanks.
Thanks for showing the extra steps to make it really good in Photopea. Excellent explanations!
@susannaholdfield7499 You're most welcome! :)
Well done! I've been looking for the exact content and tutorial that you provided. Thank you so much.
You're most welcome. Thanks for the kind words.
Hi, thank you very much for this truly priceless tutorial. It makes a nice change that your video is not done at 100 miles an hour with quick scene swaps with no audio gap in between, like a lot of the irritating videos on CZcams. Please keep your style! On another note, I've just been to Iloveimg and noticed that they now have a background removal tool and upscaler. I took a screen capture of your character and tested the background removal on the site and it worked fantastically well, meaning that you don't have to jump to another site to remove the background. Not tested the upscaler though. Thanks again!
Thanks @Mr_Kweeba, glad you like the style. We have a few of us collaborating on this channel and we each have slightly different styles (though we will try to maintain some consistency there within reason) :)
Amazing job, you've explained so clearly what I have been googling for the past days! I followed all your steps and finally getting somewhere! Definitely a subscribe and like. Can't wait to see more about the adventures of Jack!
Glad it helped :) More coming.
Thank you for making such a detailed video on this process. This is by far the best character consistency video I have watched on youtube. I've watched quite a bit! Really great job! You deserve more subscribers! I am now a subscriber and looking forward to watching your other videos. Please keep making more AI content!
Glad you found it helpful. More coming.
This was a fantastic video. So helpful! Thank you for sharing those little tips that made the biggest difference in making the photos cohesive.
Thanks I really appreciate that. We just released another video also that helps if you want to generate more of your own characters that you've drawn yourself, or characters you've made in any AI Image Generator.
Wowwww that’s great. Thanks.
Great tut and thanks for the pdf! Love the website as well. Great list of tools over there.
Glad you like it!
Thank you so much for this 🎉
Extremely well explained!
Glad it was helpful!
I love this tutorial. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing well done Jack 🎉
Thank you! 😀
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you.
You're welcome!
Awesome video. Nice detail. :)
Thanks I appreciate it.
very interesting tutorials, I just need to apply everything i've learned now :), thanks again!
Glad you enjoyed it, I'm sure you'll create something special.
really enjoy this video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Great tips, thank you!
Glad you found this helpful :)
Very good video, thanks!
You're welcome, thanks.
Finally someone who knows what he is talking about. Thank you so much.
Thanks, glad you like it. I have a few more videos on different ways to achieve character consistency, check them out on the channel.
Great tutorial !
Thanks, great to know you found it valuable.
Very helpfull. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Excellent. Can you please consider making images for children’s books for KDP. I have used Mid Journey, Designer, Dall e, and Canva and it is beyond complex. I am a very decent writer but artist? Only with AI and learning all the time. You are an excellent teacher. Glad to find you.
Good idea for a video, I'll add it to the list.
Great video man! Nice pace to it and very easy to follow. Which site did you use for that AI voiceover ? Cheers
Eleven labs for the video at the end (real voice of course for most of this video)
Excellent!!! Thanks!
Thanks, glad you liked it. We have more videos like this on the channel, so make sure to check them out.
bro your videos very good before i sleep :) its help med 2 sleep
Haha. Well, I'm trying my best. At least you found an alternative use case for it. :)
Hello, this is such a helpful video! Nicely done. Which AI voiceover was that? It was pretty good!
It's not AI. :) Or you mean the video at the end? That's elevenlabs.
Good video! I need to "How To" if I have already created my characters
Thanks! We have made a video on getting character consistency with your own custom character using free software, here's the link to that video if you want to check it out : czcams.com/video/0IlEDoGFjC8/video.html
Great video!1
Glad you enjoyed it
Your video looks awesome! What’s your camera / lighting setup? I’d love to recreate, especially with the shallow depth of field, and would really appreciate your guidance. Thanks!
Thanks! For this video I just used my Sony A7SIII with a 24-70mm lens at a 2.8 aperture. Then for lighting i used a Amaran 100d and a Godox SL60W (both with a softbox attached). I hope that helps, thanks for watching.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
very good!
Thanks!
Fantastic!
Glad you like it!
Thank you bro
You're welcome @salimhammadi8585.
Thank you for the video. Could you show how to generate various poses of a character from one image which wasn't created in Midjourney?
I'll do that sometime soon, but I may not use MidJourney for the tool to do it in, as there are other tools which can be easier for getting more consistency of generated versions of your own character that you originally created without AI.
Thank you! Thank will be very helpful and many people struggle with the same problem, I suppose@@AtomicGains-ql8hg
How do you stop midjourney from placing the characters too close together to clip. Keep making over and over and it piles images closely together?
Hi, yes this can be a problem. Maybe try change your prompt slightly to make sure to have gaps in between each character. Or you can try change the aspect ratio of your images when prompting. I hope this helps.
Can you use this method when you import your own image? Intjourney and have it make a character sheet. Off a image you generated outside of new journey.
Yes you totally can.
Did I miss where you shared the free upscaler?
Hi, Sorry I didn't provide the upscaler. Here is a link to one: www.iloveimg.com/upscale-image
Also I've used multiple character sheet images and reuploaded them after clipping and removing background etc just trying to get different poses to use throughout the book wearing the same clothing. Every single time midjourney changes the clothing irrespective of asking it to use the character references and the character weight 100% it changes something, including eye colour. It's really not yet good enough to substitute for non-ai generated characters sadly. In addition you cannot seem however I try to get midjourney to create 20 poses in one go for example which may mitigate the problem of having enough consistent styled images. It offers only 3 or 4 images at a time and will not recreate style exactly on any attempt.
Hi, unfortunately it's not perfect...yet. But that's where Photopea can really help, as tweaking small errors....like changing the eye color of your character, can be done in that free software. To get the right pose...you just have to keep trying different prompts and generating images over and over again until you get the right one. It can take a while, but it's getting better month by month. I hope you get the results you are looking for. Thanks for watching.
Im trying here but although the face is very close the clothing keeps changing to variations of the prompt description with would not be idea if is sequence :(
Hi, sorry to hear you are having trouble with it. Maybe try explaining the clothes in the prompt that you want the character to wear. Let me know if you are still having problems.
@@AtomicGains-ql8hg thank you, appreciated, I will :)
Can you do this over and over to keep training it?
Yes you can.
What if you want to upload a charater you made into mid journey
I'll have to record another video on this, it seems to be a popular question. It totally can be done.
@@AtomicGains-ql8hg Yes please do because I have my own 3d charaters that I want to turn into comics
Yes I like to know as well. How to upload your own character.to make animated video with. Thank you
Hi, I have made a video on character consistency with your own character. Feel free to check it out on our channel.
@@AtomicGains-ql8hg Thank you but i have already tried it and its no use if you are tring to make superhero comics
How can you make money from creating such stories?
Hi, I'm sure you could create stories and upload them to various sites...and hopefully you could gain enough views to then get ad revenue.
Don't you think MidJourney doesn't recognise alpha channels so the transparent .pngs you upload don't actually do anything ? :D Unless they changed it super recently...
You could be right, I'll have to check.
@@AtomicGains-ql8hg I'm with you, I wish it did too !!
AI "art" is unethical and degrading to actual artists.
Write a book
I mean it’s here now presently, write about it in your personal journal. Art is everywhere.
It's not. God created human face, artist imitate God's creature does it degrade God's creations?
@@Cookeries it steals from God's creation. it is disgusting and degrading. it is not original art. it will never be.
@@CosmosRa-dx3ws ai art is artists' hard work conglomerated. it steals from artists and it should not ever be considered "art"
Excellent! Thanks!
