Great video I was wondering if you could power up a small stepper motor and how would you go about it. I already have this kit.

    Very useful tutorial.
I want to learn basic electronics and how to draw/read simple schematics. My job is in the high tension electrical field and the basic stuff I always forget.
Maybe doing a few simple projects and drawing the schematics will help me remember.

Hi. Something i notice is that on each side of the module, the jumpers are placed in 3.3V, not in 5V. Does it matters?

are you sure that the usb supplies 5V? on my multimeter it sometimes reads as 6v

Hi Hamed, thank you for a great video!
So I'm a beginner to breadboard but have a project where I need to supply a 12-30 VDC powersource to a sensor, along with a 5 V raspberry pi. I am wondering how you would set up that system? If I supply the bugger with 12 volts, will the breadboard have 12 V then, and can the bugger handle 12 volt?

To avoid blowing up your raspberry pi I'd do 5v to raspberry pi using a usb cable and put 12v separately to the breadboard

What ? the one I have says the USB connector is just for powering external device. It's written on the instructions page

How come that 5v supply didn’t burn out the LED?

The different coloured LEDs require different voltages. Red LEDs use the lowest voltage at 1.5v so had I used that it would have burned out instantly. Usually other colours are alright at up to 6V.

Brother you're so ignorant of reality it's hilarious. If I was selling those power supply modules I'd be making £0.05p per sale. The battery holders I'd making even less lol take your negativity somewhere else. There's absolutely nothing wrong with advertising a product, I'll gladly do it but on this occasion, you're way off. Thanks.
