- BGP communities are BGP attributes that are added to a BGP update about a particular route. These attributes are used to affect things like traffic engineering, dynamic routing policies, or a whole slew of other capabilities.
In this video, we'll explore BGP communities so that we can gain a better understanding of what they are and what their purpose is.

Informative thread!!! ❤❤
Glad you think so!
Hi Lazarus,
Very informative BGP series u made. It helped me a lot to understand about BGP. Would like to see one thread for IGP (OSPF) also. Please!!
Thanks so much! I will put OSPF on my list for the near future, thanks!
Could consider (as suggested previously) a bit more Cisco basics (or advanced) series. Also, Datacenters are now starting to provision BGP over Fabric DOT1Q and QINQ - Possibly could take things in that direction. Maybe failover configurations within Cisco IOS (Dual Homed or LAGG) and BGP with Equal-Cost Multi-Path (ECMP) (maybe you did this already.. humm..). Although, all the BGP videos are great, keep those coming also!
Thanks so much for your suggestions, they're all so important and relevant! The BGP series is finished for now, and I'm going to start some videos on VXLAN and MPLS. But I'll put your topics on my list as well! Stay tuned!
Would like some videos on Multicast and SDWAN
I will put those on my list!

Hello again! Yes, the BGP series is finished, and I'm going to start working on VXLAN and MPLS in the coming weeks. Thanks for your suggestions!
