- So in this video I have a run down to mr Hewes place on Christmas Eve to pick up the 1947 dodge special deluxe and get it home so that the repairs on it can begin!

The good thing about towing a vehicle on Xmas Eve is you can pull in to the services and do all your Xmas shopping in one go. Multi tasking at it's finest... 🤠

That is why we fit a receive hitch tube to the front of our trailers so we can drop a 4,000lb electric winch on. A jump pack, old style not the new small ones, is usually enough to load several vehicles.
7:25 it would have amazing if the winch handle flicked up and went up through the back window of the Ranger! 😂😂

This doesn’t look like an enjoyable way to spend a future Christmas Eve….. You could always fit a powered winch to the trailer to improve it ready for the next time you borrow it 😉

In the uk we dont use chains. We have a break away cable that should apply the trailer brakes

Saftey chains not requirement in the UK...
Since when when I used to tow a caravan or a trailer for my work/garage had to have a safety chain and a cable to the trailer brakes in case it broke away and the safety chain/brake would apply the trailer brakes
safety chains not used in the UK .. instead the break-away cable pulls the trailer brakes on if the vehicles separate
