- In this video, we do the slim wallet showdown with the Bellroy Card Sleeve vs the Bellroy Slim Sleeve. I discovered the Bellroy Card Sleeve a few months ago and have absolutely loved it. As I prep for some upcoming travel which will require a few more cards than the Card Sleeve can accommodate, I'll be reviewing and comparing it against my latest EDC pick-up: the Bellroy Slim Sleeve wallet.

I believe that slim wallets are the best wallets because they eliminate annoying pocket-bulge, force us to be conscious about all the junk we might typically just shove in our wallets, and, even if you're the type of person who needs to carry tons of cards and cash, make a great primary holder for the very few most-commonly-used cards and a bit of cash.
There are many slim wallet options, but in this video, I break down the few that I have real life experience using for extended periods of time. The Bellroy Card Sleeve is my most recent slim wallet, having used it daily for the past 4 or 5 months (got in in Feb 2022 - and it's Jul 2022 at the time of recording this video)
The Herschel Charlie wallet has been my tried-tested-and-true workhorse slim wallet companion for over a decade, and it's something I can definitely put my name behind, in quality, functionality, aesthetics, and value.
But today, like I said, as I'm starting to plan for some upcoming travel, realized I needed another slim wallet that could accommodate a few more cards (like destination-country local transit card, hotel key card, and travel health insurance policy card, just to name a few), and so I decided to buy this Bellroy Slim Sleeve and give it a go.

I use the Bell Roy card pocket*. It can't hold an insane amount of coins but it's usually enough for me. Hopefully this helps ya out if you wanted something from Bellroy

I have 3 Bellroy wallets and truly love them. The premium variants are very choice.
I have a number of Bellroy products and just got the MIRUM edition card sleeve. It’s fantastic, slightly different in that there is no cash/card slot under the pull tab so it’s nice and sleek. New favourite for now, absolutely love it.
I just ordered the MIRUM Slim Sleeve and can't wait to get it. I was so happy to see they had a version of the wallet for animal lovers!

I've had my Bellroy Carryout for 7 years now, the insert fold wallet has been my everyday for most of that, lost it on Saturday and it was run over, the cards were totalled but wallet is still fine
Great comparison! I'm thinking about replacing my Secrid Wallet with one of these. While I still love the flip out mechanism of the Secrid, the bulk is starting to annoy me.
Another great video . I am making a list of things that I am going to order . Most are from Bellroy . Your videos are going to have me spending a lot of money 💰. 🤣😂🤣 . I don’t mind though, because Bellroy puts out awesome quality products and that’s what I been looking for .

Try the Arc bolder edc wallet. It's lighter and thinner than any leather wallet and yet very durable.

I have the apex for over a year is the best wallet I ever had
On the front pocket can fit 2 cards on each super easily
I do recommend looking at wallets from the lost dutchman leather or open sea leather as they are my preferred choice of slim wallets, like the gun deck or mini Franklin
Do the cards fall out when you hold the wallet upside down ?
Bought a Bellroy Hide and seek low* back on May, As my country dominantly still uses cash, its perfect! The hide flap hides the how much really I'm carrying.
Plus the leather is aging beautifully, a good introduction to Bellroy
Does that fit in your front pocket? I've had the card sleeve for a while and it's nice and slim but I hate having to trifold my cash

I don’t carry a lot of cards. I carry 4, ID, debit, and a couple of gift cards. I mainly use cash and I prefer a chain wallet. Are there any good wallets that fit that description while still remaining fairly slim.

In the video it looks like he pulls them from his front pocket. I couldn't carry one like that...so used to carrying it in the back pocket. Even though they're slim wallets...I don't like having that much stuff in my front pockets.

Sadly in our country. You cannot fold cash. So we force to buy wallet bi fold that fit cash straight.
Hi Hi, I recently bought another Versace crossbodybag ( i know I know ) for my iPad mini but it really is a super snug fit, I'd love to have a bag that is more functional and either cross body or sling style and fits the iPad mini well (dimensions are like 20cm x 13cm or something, so a 25x20cm bag would be the minimum I think) budget is kind of ''unlimited'' but I'd like to stay under like 200 tbh because it's literally only for mu iPad mini, lol.
So basically a bigger bag, I adore the Bulgari crossbag but tbh, 1000 euro+ is just too much for a cross body IMHO.
Bellroy lite sling is what I use. Will fit a mini, water, lunch… and weighs next to nothing
