Traditional plasters and flooring methods from Wayanad in use from centuries. The flooring which will be always in contact with the body of the users is carefully enriched using ingredients like ash, cowdung & natural gums. This method followed by our ancestors was a result of their studies of interactions of materials with human body. Natural plasters and flooring creates a lively internal space inside our home, for a healthy mind and body.

Nice to hear that our out come of all the building we practice and others who practice after studying is low. This helps both poor and rich to build in lower budget with out unwanted wastage of money and resources 🌴🙏

Sir it's not do easy we had mud walls to demolish them it was such pain. Only roof with tiles protected them while we were married and left the house. No labourer to apply cow dung as final coat every six months or no cow dung to apply. It was painful to destroy that what we built with our own hands. During summer it was cool. During winter we had local arrangements with coal in whole night. Burning.. We had to move with times concrete walls and slab.
This generation does not even know about those techno logy
. No forest to give wood for building. May it's possible only in u. S. A where there are forests. Pl forgive me its my cry
