So all 4 of my Wolf burners were clicking, but only on high. I googled it and that led me here. I did as you stated, and wire brushed everything clean, but that didn't fix anything for me. They all still clicked, and only on high. Then I remembered that you mentioned alcohol swabbing, so I used some alcohol wipes on all the surfaces that touched each other. That fixed 3 of the 4 burners. Then I recalled again you said something about electrical cleaners.. that's contact cleaner, and I had some, so I sprayed some on the ignitor of that stubborn 4th burner, and that fixed it. So, I'm writing this here just in case it helps others. I'm not saying don't bother scrubbing; that's probably needed. But if you've done the scrubbing and it still doesn't work, get some contact cleaner. Use it sparingly though, that stuff is basically gasoline and isopropyl alcohol, and burns for a while.

      Similar issue here..
They were all so randomly blustery, often blowing themselves clear around the igniter, causing it to fire again.
These wolf stoves, even the brand new ones you see on TV cooking shows all have this problem.
It seems they're particularly prone to any kind of dirt causing a flow issue.
On one, I couldn't put a pot on it. The pressure build from the pan above would cause the reigniting issue..
I replaced the igniter, only to find it continued.. I then simply vacuumed the whole part out, cleaned all the jets, and it's not perfect, but it is better.
I too wonder if it might actually benefit from some kind of super deep chemical cleaning. Maybe even ultrasonic.
      Tricky design.

Thank you for explaining the design of this type of Wolf Range. I've always had this issues from day one. Delayed ignitions(very dangerous). I had spark box replaced some time ago. I have new burner in a box. I guess it wouldn't hurt to clean it all up and put in new rings. Thank you again.

Then I watched your video...cleaned my stove top like a mad man and low and behold IT WORKED!! I also found out that it all started to a large amount of water condensation from a lid that was placed over 2 burners. Needless to say I deleted my FB post. THANK YOU!! PRO TIP: LET EVERYTHING DRY OUT LIKE YOU SAID IN THE VIDEO!!!

Wolf mode ct36g - clicks for about 30 seconds (all burners) before it finally ignites. Once one of the burners has lit, the rest light easily, but the first one always takes a very long time. They do not continue clicking once lit. Any suggestions?

you may end up having to replace those igniters in a few years. To remove them you to remove that center hub with a 10 mm allen wrench and let me tell you it takes some self convincing to believe that it will come off; conventional thread right tight lefty loosy but it is on there very tight. I use nickel anti sieze on all the parts when ever I take 'em apart. after that hub comes out you gotta disconnect the gas ( 8 ,12, 14 , and 15 wrenches) then you remove the two Phillips pan head screws holding the whole burner on. This might be a good time to unscrew all those screws and put antisieze on them. I had to drill mine out they were so frozen. I re-tapped them with a 10-32 roll form tap and used Star drives and antisieze. the igniters come out through the upper side of the burner after you pull the wire and remove the circlip and spring located underneath.

My igniter keeps clicking, even when the burner is not turned on. I know you suggest using a blow drier; I wonder if I can just turn on the burner on HIGH and its own heat will dry anything that's wet? Any thoughts?

Hello, my burners are clicking when i light one or more but sometimes its just one burner that is not even in use, sometimes its all of them and I’m only using one. Sometimes its a random combination of a few clicking whether or not they are lit. Basically, as long as one burner is lit, one or more clicks! Can you recommend if the cleaning should help or if I should look into replacing the igniters?

Hi, I am having a similar issue w/ my RT486G. I have noticed the large silver cylender that feeds the propane is loose on the one burner that is clicking and the burner has a large orange flame ( in your video the cylender is at 7 o'clock on the top bruner and 2 o'clock on the bottom burner). I notice they don't move on the other burners. Is there a way to reattach these ? I can't tell if they are welded or glued? I also notice the clip on the porcelain igniter is missing so I will try to find a way to place that as part of my trouble shooting. I tried cleaning all the parts per your video but that didn't solve the problem. When mine ignites it has the large orange flame but never gets to the efficent blue flame and continues to click. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Nice video, I have the same exact stove from Wolf. I removed and cleaned everything, replaced all ignitors and the spark module. This included all the wiring from the spark module to each ignitor too. The left rear and left front burners work fine and independently. On the right side, however, I get a strange result. When I turn on either the front or rear right, all the ignitors continue to spark. They will only stop when BOTH right (front and rear) burners are turned on simultaneously. If I turn off either, all start to spark again. AS if they only want to work together! It doesn't stop if for instance, if I turn on one of the right ones and one of the left ones. Kind of annoying, but I'm not sure what else to do at this point, as everything is clean and all the electronics and wiring from the module is new. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

      Thanks Robert,
Sounds like you did everything correctly.
You could just try for fun plugging your stove into an extension cord and plug them back into the outlet in the dining room.
Sometimes a bad ground in the kitchen outlet will cause weird sparking problems.
