To avoid the confusion at the end I would suggest to say "pin test, reset after 20s" and then everybody is on the same line and they're able to gather enough information about their ping. If there are no rules/standards you can just create and fine-tune them.
or always reset when the team says "no problem"(validates the server) no matter the "sweatyness"

Game analysis, and MVP goals.
Extremely high level of play from Yanx, Alpha54, and Zen. I actually think Lostt was a little bit of a "side-kick" in this series, which goes to show incredibly skilled Yanx is (MVP for sure)
For me the most surprising this game was Alpha54, who I think was peaking quite a bit. I wouldn't even necessarily say Zen played better than Alpha, despite all the recent Zen hype. But then again, Zen makes others look good as well, he's just so solid in all areas.
Best goal for me is hard to decide actually, it could be 26:05 Zen's triple tap which was incredibly mechancal, but it's a lesser goal since it comes off a big mistake by Lostt, leaving Yanx in a difficult situation.
Alpha54 had several impressive goals which were off very "desperate situations" that he somehow managed to pull off incredible mechanics, but sadly I cant find timestamps rn.
But I think the one I would choose as MVP GOAL is Yanx 5:48 with the ceiling-backwall triple, because defenders had full boost and lots of time to put up their best defense. It's the combination of incredibly mechanical, incredibly unsavable/unpredictable, and extremely well chosen for the situation. You can see Zen, one of the best defenders in the game hands down, is completely caught off guard, and Alpha54 is known for his fast and precise challenges, yet he gets dusted. MVP is Yanx. (I'm from Norway, so not biased tbh)
Spoiler, but seeing how close the last game was, and considering server advantage, I'd say Zen and Alpha54 were the better 2s duo. I doubt they'd lose that last game on home server, and this is a problem with the format to begin with which we knew.
Lets review - France were on away server, yet losing by only 1 goal, and yet having multiple shots barely saved or off target and majority of possession in last game... When its THAT CLOSE, when a team (SA) who's supposed to win barely hangs on by a thread despite having a clear server advantage, I think its safe to assume that the AWAY-team (FR) is playing better.
If these teams were to play 100 games, I'd say Zen and Alpha54 takes maybe 55-60 of the wins

I'm French but I don't like the fact that Alpha is complaining, when France had 80-90 ping on NA server and Brazil had 116 on EU server.
Besides, saying before the last game that he doesn't think winning on away server is possible, isn't very respectful. If he loses he has an excuse, and if he wins it's almost insulting for the brazilian players.

When I play on US servers iv'e got 200 ping with almost very little lag, whereas my friend with 100ping is getting insane rolebacks (he showed me clips of his)

That wasn’t a study, it was a survey. And it also showed rainbow6 players had an iq of 120+. That should indicate the accuracy of it. The report paper even stated that it wasn’t all that scientific and not even a representative sample. It also stated that female gamers had an average iq of 108+ which doesn’t make sense. I would be confident that some games have higher iq players than others (especially if they are considered nerdy games) but because of regression to the mean, the true population iq in most games should not deviate by more than 2 or 3 points

When Johnny said "ping test" and the players said "No problem", I took it as "okay, this is a ping test", rather than "you may say this is a ping test, but the ping is okay, we will play on". Not only did the first 2 goals happen in a ping test mindset, France was then also denied the actual ping test. It's possible they were unhappy with the server, but had to play on because Johnny said so. This was definitely handled poorly in my opinion. Still great series though

Johnny is wrong on this one. He said it was a ping test. That implies that the game isn't real and will be reset. Them saying no problem, to me, meant that they were okay with the server - not that they were okay with the game running without a reset. I've seen dozens of ping tests and 'No Problem' is universally used as being happy with the ping, I've never once seen it being used as a response to there being a ping test. The players then started to play as they would normally instead of messing about as they do in ping tests. If a ping test is suggested, and the players that have the ping disadvantage waiver that by saying no problem and then start playing as normal, that's on them.
