See this makes me happy. There are western women out there who can pull their weight outdoors and have the knowledge to make it even under primitive conditions.

Loved the food, awesome closeups, minimal gear (but the best gear) and beautiful outdoors. Glad I got to enjoy another awesome outdoors overnighter with you. Thanks. Cheryl GA 🇺🇸

I stayed out in my woods behind my home one night and while the fire crackled as I lay there starting up, I was mesmerized by the orange yellow glow of the fire making shadows dance on the tree canopy and a large Great Horned Owl flew directly over me and it cast a huge shadow from the fire on the under canopy of the trees as I lay there in awe, truly awesome experience.

Great vlog Alexis. Showing a simple way to camp for a lovely spring evening. Really important that you showed that you don’t need to contaminate the countryside by leaving rubbish behind. You left it as if you’d never been. Brilliant.

Enjoyed the video. Even if it was just an overnighter I imagine it felt great to get out. I agree it can be challenging to cut down on plastics when you go on a longer canoe trip but I find even little thinks like washable synthetic bags for trail mix help. And that blanket from bushcraftspain looks so comfortable!!!!!

Simple and good. One of the best videos I’ve seen on your channel. Thanks for sharing.

It's funny to think about how whenever a youtuber wakes up at a camp site and says good morning to the camera, they actually already woke up, turned the camera on, went back to bed, then pretended to wake up again for the camera. Always gets me. With that said, cool video. I like the waxed cotton idea. I've noticed myself using way too many ziplock bags as of late. I think I'll give that a try.

The quality of your videos is amazing. You show how you do things but also keep it interesting and don't let it wander into sterile how-to territory. Really great work!
