Hub motors don't have enough torque unless you get something bigger like a 3000w and up then they come in to play that's why I got the 1000w mid-drive on my Mario fat tyre super73 lookalike 😊🙏
Mid drives are great. Not quite as efficient as a direct drive hub motor but way more capable specially if you throw gears on it. Those gates belt mid drives look awesome, less noisy.

Just got a Sur ron X. Can I ride it on the streets, or do you recommend me installing pedals? I'm also here in L.A.
It's not street legal but a lot of peeps do ride them on the street.
1. Did you ever get your breaks checked? And 2. What kind of bike does the one doing the wheelies have? Is it a regular dirt bike?
Thats a Sur Ron doing the wheelies. Brakes are fine, that bike is notorious for squealing brakes.
