knowing you are being categorised changes your behaviour and influences any "assessment." Not understanding what these categories mean and the inability of many to explain what it means leaves horrific stigma and confusion. i think the categories cause more harm than good. Saying PD labelled people are problem on society while not mentioning the harms done onto such people seems to burden all responsibilty for any problems in a persons life on their shoulders. 256 ways of being labelled BPD. That's a very broad mix of people is it not?

I am very HOSTILE towards the DSM. I am very EMOTIONAL and AX-IOUS about rhe DSM. I am very DEPRESSED about not being adequately SEPARATED from the DSM. And I am at great RISK in TAKING a sudden IMPULSIVE action at BURNING the DSM spontaneously. And I don't have any EMPATHY or GUILT in feeling this way. Love you all.

I found myself getting angry over nothing, like family members eating too
load. Absolutely anything, a family member eating pot noodle, listening
to the sound of the shower in the morning when i was in bed.every sound
was torture. On top of all this, genuine worry for my partner
    suffering with bipolar.
After my episodes of anger i was always
deeply sorry. I could not control my temper, now i'm on my own own i
think it's best to find myself. I'm not a bad person.

If children are unable to see a reflection of themselves in the eyes of others, they will instinctively "find" a way to relate to those around them. And usually this ability to relate is found within a sense of humor.
They will most likely become the class clown. The kid who never takes anything serious and jokes around about everything, and as they grow up into adults they will find themselves going in search of a answer as to "why" they're different and "why" their unable to relate to other people...
Most people who go in search of such things will most likely find what they are looking for online in the form of a label (a self diagnosis) something they can point a finger at, something that will answer that life long question as to "Why" it is they're un-able to relate...
And this is where you can run into trouble, for when you attach a label to yourself, that label can over time begin to define "who you are" & "who you'll become"

Psychoanalysis by the numbers. More than a little horrifying if you think about it. I once watched a Social Worker testify in Court that by checking the right number of boxes on a piece of paper while observing children playing with toys, she could confidently conclude that 1) The children were being sexually abused, and 2) The abuser was their Father (they had played with an Eagle and a Snake). As GAL I was able to save the family from the enormous power of the State that was about to come crashing down on them, but it made me appreciate Therapists that are NOT Wedded to DSM or any other tool. These are tools, at best. That's all.

The first step to understanding "personality disorders" is to get a clear idea how personalities are defined in psychology. The second step is to be diagnosed and to identify with your symptom criteria in real time. As a person with BPD, I have to see how it is I "split" or employ black and white thinking to various situations, for example. I think people who aren't mental health professionals are not aware of even what the term "disorder" means in psychology. I made a brief video that simplifies the conceptual framework they're using: czcams.com/video/T2Omza28vzA/video.html

  • @steelbrotherhoodof2359
    @steelbrotherhoodof2359 Před rokem +1

as far as we know. all personality dissorders come from a lack of a "home for one self" or intense forced social contact. like forced living or working togehter. wich does not have to be a problem if everybody agrees. when somebody not agrees. for example after sexual development or other privacy infridgement sensitive data in any group. it can feel as hard as rape. to life together. also a bad or good herarchie balance. like equal partners in co-operation. can make a difference between. an artidicial roll as being part of a group. or just feeling empowered and supported one self and all together. wich support lays by the master or keyholder of that physicle establishment like a village. a person is born to be itself. any otherthing like unreasonable questions. or the needlessly of standing up for one another. will lead u defineable to.. uhm... what you said in this title. think logicle. act sensitive.

Personality Disorders can be explained with just one sentence: you're always right because they are always wrong. Everything they do is wrong because they always act for a reason, exploiting someone else's conscience to fill cognitive and emotional thus moral void of their syntethic personality. Since their personality is syntethic, they have greater social functioning and high rates of professional and relational success (PDs nourish each other and are a continuum of mutually complementary conditions).

We are spirits inhabiting a physical body to experience this physical reality. Western world does not see full reality as it is. Western world only believes in MATERIALISM which is but a fraction of a fraction of the whole. I am researching spirit attachment of 1 or more spirits. You are the main attachment to your body and you drift off here and there (and may not want to return if you don't like the physical situation you are in). If you do have other spirits attached, they can influence you or temporarily control your body. You can also exhibit some behaviors or even physical pains or even bad health via the energies from 1 or more attached spirits. Comments welcome.

I was certified as a back of the insane asylum psychotic by the Florida Board of Medicine which is the highest medical authority in Florida. Stanford University has CZcams videos by Professor of Neurobiology Robert Sapolsky who fills his classes full. His schizophrenia video says that the leading cause of homelessness is not drugs but schizophrenia. The most common symptom of schizophrenia is hearing a voice and the most common voice is Jesus Christ. Other symptoms include talking to inanimate objects and/or dead people. The Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus fits Dr. Sapolsky's description perfectly. Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Gresham College in London England has a CZcams video on personality disorders where the speaker sudden stops and says "we cannot have all religious people on antipsychotic drugs." Under DSM IIIr all religious beliefs were symptoms of schizophrenia however under DSM 5.1 some religious beliefs are allowed so just pew sitting is not enough to make a diagnosis of schizophrenia under DSM 5.1. God bless you in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ, Kent J. Nauman ex-MD (axis I schizophrenia (chronic))
Warning psychiatric theory (PSYCHO the RAPIST) is fraudulent and injurious. Their optimal human being has been found. He is a psychopath who infiltrated the fertility clinics and had ~150 offspring. When I was in medical school psychiatric class learning about schizophrenia having its onset between 18-25 years, I said what about Moses talking to a burning bush? The psychiatric resident was stunned speechless. When I had just turned 40 years old, the Florida board of medicine revoked my medical license for Axis I schizophrenia (chronic) with the symptoms including believing in the blood of Jesus Christ, smiling and believing in God's Word instead of DSM IIIr. Years later I was in my favorite coffee house when a man came up to me and said that he and his wife both majored in psychology so I said what about Moses talking to a burning bush? He said "Moses? Oh Yes, a mega-schizophrenic!" So I went to the public library looked up a book on psychoanalytic theory then looked in the index under God and religion where I found that both were treated as problems in castration. Therefore psychiatric theory has God in a sandwich which I call the SCHIZOPHRENIA-god-CASTRATION COMPLEX. Do an internet search on "DSM religion delusions" and “psychotic religious delusions” to see that I am correctly diagnosed. Therefore please do not call me an ignorant moron. God bless you in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ, Kent J. Nauman ex-MD (axis I schizophrenia (chronic))

To that list I would like to include Democrats or Republicans as the names of diseases, or even psychologist and psychiatrist? I have come to the conclusion that the DSM in every version (or testament) is completely subjective. You can diagnose some of the people some of the time just like you can fool some of the people some of the time. IMHO, there should be no licensure of physicians as Milton Friedman proposed in Capitalism and Freedom so long ago.
