Underrated, favorite word in Eurovision
I love this song and have done from the first time I heard it. I think that the majority of people who vote in the Eurovision are hearing most of the songs for the first time so songs that are growers are at a disadvantage

@@ararune3734 Hahah, I’m 99% sure that you’re Croatian, and that’s the reason why this truth hurts you so much. Secondly, this song is not unique, doesn’t have enough elements for a good Eurovision song(unique/interesting/meaningful lyrics, melody that gives the opportunity to show vocal abilities, gradation and dinamics which means the gap between stanzas and refrains, also between first and last refrain, or the melody/song that is very unique itself). Croatia is almost without any of those elements, the song is boring, flat and similar to many, many other songs. Those are the facts, every other country in the Balkans is better than Croatia and Slovenia, not to mention others.

Don’t get me wrong, but this song isn’t competitive in any way. It reminds so much of Taylor Swift and is nothing special in terms of quality, and this Eurovision.
@@cutecuteson8150 well, to each it's own, but songwriting and organic nature are probably what draws me in so much. The strings are so beautiful, not just for the sake of them, to check the box like it usually is in Eurovision, but really in line with the mood, projecting the dreamy nature of the song. And also really audacious (at least to my ear)! The beat is constant and creates a nice hook. There are plenty of things that make this unique for this year's competition. A lot of thought has been put into this, even if the progression is a bit forced and the main strumming/picking pattern seems to be on the loop.
Yes, if I listen to it superficialy, it sounds generic and main vocal melody isn't doing much. This can greatly impact the outcome in the competition, but focusing on any part more gives me a lot to appreciate and even monotonous parts are like that for a reason. In my head, this is brilliant and I can proudly stand for such an act. 🥰🥰

Aaw, that's truly the sweetest music video I've ever seen! No drama, no tension, just pure love and positivity. Not completely true to the lyrics but who cares, she's so sweet! Wonderful cinematography too, I just love the shots of the girls dancinc inside the bus but really everything is beautifully composed.

Performance nothing special, song.. really, but really not competitive. It just sounds like many other acoustic songs/ versions of the songs, and like some Taylor Swifts song that is acoustic. The song just doesn’t have a moment, her voice sounds basic, no vocal show off at all. Also, it’s not unique in any way - not by lyrics, not her voice, not the melody of the song, nothing. This isn’t the event of “acoustic covers night”, it’s a Eurovision

In both versions, she sings about being trapped in a relationship with one man, and wanting to run off with another, but while in the English version she sings directly *to the man she loves*, in the Croatian version, she sings directly *to the man she is in a relationship with*. Both versions have lyrical sense, but they aren't the same. Thus, if she'd decide for a bilingual version, her attitude should also change when singing each verse, as each channels different emotions.
