Hey guys. Just so you know, most Kimchi you buy at the supermarket needs ferment more in order to taste ripe. Someone people do enjoy fresh Kimchi but there is a point where it gets ripe and perfect. 1-2 day out of the refrigerator (taste for preference) for faster fermentation then into the refrigerator to get it cool. It will taste more ripe, less bitter and slightly more tangy. This applies to all Kimchi including the cucumber, radish, buchu, cabbage, etc. I leave mine in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks before I even touch it. Just some advice for those of you that are new to Kimchi.
Also Korean Banchan is almost always meant to be eaten with rice so if you eat it separately, it will be too salty.
Supermarket banchan is the same as buying mac and cheese at Ralph’s. Not the best quality FYI. Buy banchan from your favorite Korean restaurant or Korean catering places for much better quality banchan. Ok I am done!!!
jwchoi721 yep, also make sure when you ferment Kimchi make sure store in ceramic jar or glass, impotant is not to use plastic container, Kimchi citric will break down plastic chemical.

I literally just discovered H Mart yesterday from a coworker so I decided to check it out since it’s only six minutes from where I work I didn’t have much time to look around but man I was so overwhelmed with excitement I can’t wait to go back and actually take my time and shop I bet I will spend about 200 to LMAO I’m so glad you guys reviewed these because they looked interesting to me and now I’m definitely going to try. I wish you guys would have tried the spicy rice cake one that one looked interesting to me as well..very great video keep it up guys you are so funny and super awesome edits on this video LOL!

Especially the fish. They mention eating the salmon with the rice, but they don't actually show them doing it. All of that seafood is ten times better when you eat it with rice (either in the same bite, or alternating bites).

By the way-- H-marts (at least in Maryland) actually have restaurants in them and it's BOMB. My favorite kimchi soup is from there. My h-mart also has a cafe, two sushi restaurants, and a fried chicken storefront all in the store.

Hey Guys try out Tokyo Central in West Covina, They have poki bowls, Ramen, Sushi and plenty of other amazing food.
I would love to see you try the options at a 99 Ranch Market. My husband and I always stop at the one in the North Dallas suburb of Plano when we drive down. There are so many food options It's overwhelming.
