Bridge is one the most useful tools Adobe offers and with a few improvements, it could be on the list of essential Adobe applications

Any good videos out there on why Bridge crashes soooo much? Been using it for 20 years +. Seems that I can’t work for even an hour without it crashing. I have an iMac i9 with 128GB and 16video…any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
I remember the last i used Bridge, it always auto refresh. So when i have many files in folder, scrolldown to the specific file, then after some minutes Bridge refreshs it self and i lost my specific file that i have clicked/choosen.
But i don't know the last update of Bridge.
Hi, Thank you for sharing your video. Can Adobe Bridge be used to access photos in the iCloud Drive?
Now what really interest's me is how many 100mb files you can cram into one single folder and open that from an external SSD with out crashing :) ( and how much RAM one needs doing this with a Macbook Pro or Air )
I wish they'd add a focus point option. Capture One has a good option for this too.

PROBLEM :
I cannot bring Bridge to use the inbeded preview of my Raw photos (they DO have them intact, in sepia-tones).
I tried all the many preferences possible, so I think.
(Including flush ALL preferences of bridge at dedicated reset new start,
sayd to not build preview when file larger then 1mb,
use fast preview only,
never build previews,
all combined and more.
Nothing does it.
Sometimes in new starts then the sepia versions remain longer then a few seconds but that's it . They refresh with colored preview pics.)
I want to try use Bridge for culling before LR.
I re-do my own monochromes with the few remaining best ones.
Still a preview system for .fla files has not been introduced!!!

Yes. It does. Its available independently even if you are not a paid Adobe user.
Is there a way in Bridge to search for files that never been imported into a Lightroom Catalog? Been tinkering with this lately as I'm merging multiple catalogs in Lightroom.
I use Bridge since it came out but it always crashes when using external SSDs. What laptop do you use?
I love Bridge and use it all the time, don't use Lightroom very much at all.

Hello, I am planning to order Adobe camera Raw and PS. I currently installed the latest version of Bridge, and looking forward to this new work flow.
However, Bridge when I open the product and an image folder, it’s showing all my ON1 side car files (.on1) and I can’t seem to find a way to hide these.
I tried going to Settings, Checked on Hide Undefined File Associations, Ok, but the setting does stay checked on.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance, Tom

@@tpiorkowski It should be present for sure. Go to the top VIEW menu (It should be next to the EDIT menu on top) and then UNCHECK the "Show Hidden Files".

I have never used Bridge ever before and I don't see a good benefit it using bridge at all.
i had never used Bridge before, and have used Lightroom for years. Unfortunately, Lightroom started moving very, very slowly and I was getting very frustrated. I tried Bridge and love it! And it is blazing fast when opening files and moving them into Photoshop. I quit using Lightroom and will probably cancel my subscription to it.
Bridge keeps losing my latest files after i have reviewed them and they are no where to be found, I think Bridge is overrated.
